CITY AND INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION OF MAHARASHTRA LIMITED  CIDCO is an acronym of the City and Industrial Development Corporation of Maharashtra Limited. Completely owned by the State Government incorporated as a company on March 17, 1970 it is a public sector undertaking of the Government. CIDCO is notified by the State Government as the New Town Development Authority (NTDA). The Government later widened the scope of CIDCO’s activities delegating the responsibility as the Special Development Authority (SPA). Today CIDCO has earned a reputation as the premier town planning and development agency in the country. Its light blue and dark blue logo has a motif of abstract depiction of a highrise building with a halo. This is supported by its acronym is English and its tagline ‘We Make Cities’.

EXPORT PROMOTION COUNCIL FOR EOUS AND SEZS The Export Promotion Council for EOUs and SEZs (EPCES) has been set up  to service the export promotional needs of one hundred percent Export Oriented Units (EOU)s, Special Economic Zone (SEZ) Units and Agri-Economic Zones (AEZ) in the country. Export Promotion Council for EOUs & SEZs (EPCES) has been setup by Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India, to service the export promotional needs of EOUs & SEZs in the country. Over the years, EPCES has made an endeavour to facilitate consultations between different stakeholders including industry, policy makers, bank, financial institutions and multilateral agencies to facilitate greater competitiveness in the Indian EOUs & SEZ sector. SPECIAL FRONTIER FORCE The Special Frontier Force -SFF was created on 14 November 1962, near the end of the Indo-China War. The Cabinet Secretariat had ordered the raising of an elite guerrilla force composed mainly of Tibetan refugees. It's main goal was to conduct covert operations behind Chinese lines in the event of another Indo-China war. The first Inspector General of the SFF was a retired Indian Army  Major General who was known for his unconventional thinking. Soon the SFF came to be known as 'Establishment 22' due to its first Inspector General, who used to be commander of 22 Mountain Regiment during World War II. The SFF base is at Chakrata, near Dehra Dun. It is home to the large Tibetan refugee population.  By early 1984, the SFF's elite Special Group became the primary counter-terrorist force in India.
