MANGALORE INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY & ENGINEERING Mangalore Institute of Technology & Engineering (MITE) was established in the year 2007. It is offering ten Undergraduate programmes in engineering, three Postgraduate programmes in engineering, business administration computer applications and seven research programmes. It has an interesting emblem in orange and blue colours. A hexagonal box simulating a cell of a beehive, from which a butterfly breaks through, means that the young minds after their education in this institute shall emerge out as colourful and vibrant butterflies benefitting the open world.
