MAHARASHTRA GRAMIN BANK Maharashtra Gramin Bank (MGB) is a Gramin bank, in the State of Maharashtra with its head office in Aurangabad. Maharashtra Gramin Bank came into existence on July 20, 2009 after amalgamation of erstwhile Maharashtra Godavari Gramin Bank and Marathawada Gramin Bank. The bank was sponsored by the Bank of Maharashtra. Its emblem is an intersection of letter ‘M’ in a bold font with a circle in fresh green colour. A circle is a universal and old symbol meaning, wholeness, infinity, unity and eternity. Fresh green colour denotes harmony, freshness, fertility, calmness, tolerance, prosperity and growth. The emblem is simple, meaningful, attractive and brands the bank to meet its stated goals and objectives.
