BARKATULLAH UNIVERSITY Barkatullah University (BU) formerly known as Bhopal University which was established in 1970 in Bhopal. In 1988 it was renamed as Barkatullah Vishwavidyalaya, in memory of the freedom fighter Prof. Barkatullah. The logo of the university  has a shield with a pair of black outlines, holding the motifs of an open book surmounted by a rising sun and supported by flowing waters of river are placed inside an oval and circumscribed by its name in Devanagari and English. Its motto is written on the open book in Sanskrit ‘श्रद्धावाँल्लभते ज्ञानम्’ (39, Chapter 4, Srimad Bhagavad Gita) ‘The Devoted and Faithful Gain Knowledge’. The shield symbolises protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; The rising sun symbolises light, universal prosperity and path for growth; the open book symbolises knowledge, education and wisdom and the flowing waters of river denote life, fertility, freedom, a path and the passage of time. 

NATIONAL LAW INSTITUTE UNIVERSITY

NATIONAL LAW INSTITUTE UNIVERSITY The National Law Institute University (NLIU) has been established by Act No. 41 of 1997 of the Madhya Pradesh Legislature to fill the gap and provide the most modern legal education through multidisciplinary teaching and training of newer skills needed for the profession. The University launched its first academic programme in 1998. The red circular emblem of the university has its acronym written in the middle, topped by a yellowish drop of enlightenment, knowledge, wisdom and realisation. Below this its motto in Sanskrit ‘यत्नवान सुखमेधते’ meaning ‘The Diligent Grows Happily’ is inscribed. These are ensconced in a circular border which carries the name of the university, its place and its year of establishment.

INDIRA GANDHI RASHTRIYA MANAV SANGRAHALAYA

INDIRA GANDHI RASHTRIYA MANAV SANGRAHALAYA A nucleus of a 'National Museum of Man' began functioning from New Delhi from  March 21, 1977 as part of the Anthropological Survey of India. In 1978 it was separated from the Anthropological Survey of India and declared as an Independent Subordinate Office of the Department of Culture (now Ministry of Culture ), Government of India. In March 1985 the Museum was renamed as Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya, at the instance of the then Prime Minister, Mrs. Indira Gandhi, which was later through a Cabinet decision named after Indira Gandhi as Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya. For international perspective the term ‘National Museum of Mankind’ was adopted. Unlike other national Museums, which were set up to house certain collections in possession, the IGRMS was started without any collection to display, rather with a set of ideas.
