UNIVERSITY OF KALYANI

UNIVERSITY OF KALYANI The emblem of University of Kalyani (UK) is a modified version of Vishva Bharati University in square shape with woodcut-like elements dividing the square into nine parts. The upper and lower parts bear the name of the university and side panels house crests of paddy. The four corner panels have four lotuses with sixteen petals holding a swastika in their centre. The central panel has a plough and a gear wheel placed inside a circle. The gear wheel symbolises interconnectedness, efficiency, precision, progress, advancement, synchronisation, timing, order and structurethe lotuses symbolises purity, enlightenment, rebirth, transformation, personal growth, resilience, overcoming obstacles and divine beauty; the swastikas denote represent sun, prosperity and good luck; the plough symbolises agriculture and food and the crests of paddy denote food, agriculture and prosperity.

ALIPURDUAR UNIVERSITY Alipurduar University is the first state aided University of Alipurduar district which was inaugurated by Smt. Mamata Banerjee. The emblem of the university has a circle with yellow and cyan background carrying a plaque with an open book symbolising education, knowledge and wisdom and a rhinoceros representing the local ecology. It is supported by laurels of paddy crowns symbolising victory, achievement and success and topped by its name in Bengali and at the bottom with the year of its establishment. This circle with motifs is ensconced by a green toned border carrying the university’s name in English and Devanagari separated by twigs of tea leaves. Below the emblem on a green colour banner its motto in Sanskrit ‘सा विद्या या विमुक्तये’ meaning ‘That which Liberates is Knowledge’ which forms part of a verse appearing in Vishnu-Purana (1.19.41) and ‘Honesty Wisdom Creativity’ are written.

ACHARYA N.G. RANGA AGRICULTURAL UNIVERSITY ANGRAU was established under the name of Andhra Pradesh Agricultural University (APAU) on June 12, 1964 through the APAU Act 1963. Later, it was renamed as Acharya N. G. Ranga Agricultural University on November 7, 1996 in honour of Acharya N. G. Ranga. The green colour emblem of the university has a gear wheel bearing the name of the university housing the motifs of an ear of corn, plough, laboratory apparatus, cattle, hut and a flower. The gear wheel is supported by a pair of sickles and an open book at the bottom and on sides by a pair of crowns of paddy crop bunches. BANGIYA GRAMIN VIKASH BANK

BANGIYA GRAMIN VIKASH BANK Bangiya Gramin Vikash Bank (BGVB) was formed, as corresponding new RRB on February 21, 2007, consequent upon amalgamation of Mallabhum Gramin Bank, Gaur Gramin Bank, Murshidabad Gramin Bank, Nadia Gramin Bank and Sagar Gramin Bank in West Bengal. The green and yellow circular emblem of the bank has a traditional house placed in front of a gear wheel and a glowing sun, with a pair of stalks of paddy with crowns placed in front. These are ensconced in a green circular border which carries the name of the bank in Bengali and English. The emblem has a white and green border line.  The colour yellow denotes happiness, energy, vitality, focus and creativity and green denotes life, production, fertility, agriculture and village. Sun symbolises light, strength, power and life energy and positive energy. TAMILNADU GRAMA BANK

TAMILNADU GRAMA BANK Tamilnadu Grama Bank (TGB), sponsored by Indian Bank was formed on April 1, 2019 by amalgamation of erstwhile Pallavan Grama Bank and Pandyan Grama Bank. The emblem of TGB has a gear wheel spearheading the industrial activities in grey colour, which has a tricolour - green, brown and blue inner ring holding a green map of the State of Tamilandu holding a bunch of paddy. Gear wheel denotes interconnectedness; efficiency and precision; progress and advancement; synchronisation and timing and order and structure, which the bank strives for. Green is the colour of life, agriculture and village and the crown of paddy denotes agriculture, harvest and food safety. The ring of blue, green and brown denotes the integrated development of agriculture, fisheries and industry in the State. A bunch of ripened paddy is considered an auspicious symbol of growth, prosperity and wealth. Overall, the logo is a symbol of the bank and all its stakeholders.
