ICAR-DIRECTORATE OF WEED RESEARCH The green emblem of ICAR-Directorate of Weed Research (DWR) has a pictorial created with laboratory flask and a beaker holding a leaf. The name and place of the Directorate in Devanagari surmounts this pictorial. The colour green symbolises agriculture, nature, growth, balance, harmony, environment, prosperity, vitality, prestige, wealth and being very down to earth.

ICAR-CENTRAL INSTITUTE FOR ARID HORTICULTURE The emblem of ICAR-Central Institute for Arid Horticulture (CIAH) has a segment of circle with black outline housing the motifs of a microscope, a twig with fruits of Indian jujube and a laboratory flask with plants growing in it, all representing the arid climate and its horticultural plants and associated research in those domains. The segment is surmounted by its name and supported by its acronym in Devanagari.

ICAR-NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF NATURAL FIBRE ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY The green colour oval emblem of ICAR-National Institute of Natural Fibre Engineering and Technology (NINFET) houses the motifs of a gear wheel, laboratory flasks and a plant with leaves growing from the base. This assembly is circumscribed by its name and the year of establishment. The motifs represent science, engineering and the plants used for the production of fibres. The colour green symbolises agriculture, nature, growth, balance, harmony, environment, prosperity, vitality, prestige, wealth and being very down to earth.

CENTRAL UNIVERSITY OF PUNJAB

CENTRAL UNIVERSITY OF PUNJAB The Central University of Punjab (CUP), has been established in 2009 along with other new Central Universities by an Act of Parliament (No 25, of 2009). Its logo has a dark green rectangular portrait background on which, the feathers - depict pages of books representing social and other streams; flask – depicts pure and applied sciences; two leaves - depict life sciences; circle on the top - depicts engineering sciences; atomic symbol in circle - it indicates nuclear and other sciences; peacock formation – it represents integration of all the faculties and diverse educational fields. And the green colour - hints at concern for environment and ecology.

INDOFIL INDUSTRIES LIMITED Indofil Industries Limited is uniquely placed both in agricultural chemicals (ABD) as well as Indofil Innovative Solutions (IIS) Business. Indofil has its export presence in more than 120 countries as suppliers of Mancozeb formulations. In India, Indofil is successful in strategic marketing of Insecticides including IGR’s, fungicides (Mancozeb, Tricyclazole, Zineb etc.), bactericides, herbicides, acaricides, surfactants and plant growth regulators (PGR). Its logo has a motif and a word mark. The motif in light brown has a laboratory flask with a liquid supported by its name. Adjacent to this its full name is written in black extra bold sans serif letters.

BR AGROTECH LTD.

BR AGROTECH LTD. Bharat Group created a subsidiary BR Agrotech Limited (BRAL) in 2000. This company commenced operations with the commissioning of its pesticides unit at Kathua in Jammu and Kashmir to tap the extensive capacity in to manufacture and cater to the institutional customers. BRAL established a manufacturing facility at Panoli (Gujarat) with huge capacity to manufacture with state of art machinery. BRAL diversified and established a unit at Kala Amb in Himachal Pradesh to manufacture PET bottles for pesticides, beverages and pharmaceuticals with fully automated state of the art machinery for first stage and two stage manufacture of PET bottles and jars. The company’s logo has a plant with three leaves, stem and roots growing from a vial, which is placed inside a flask.

NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY RAIPUR

NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY RAIPUR National Institute of Technology Raipur (Formerly Government Engineering College Raipur) is situated in the capital the State of Chhattisgarh3. From December 1, 2005, the institute has become the National Institute of Technology. The circular multicolour emblem has a shining sun in the centre with the backdrop of circumnutating squares, supported by a bridge, a glass flask, an antenna and a helical structure of DNA. This is ensconced in circular gear. This assemblage has a border in which the name of the institute is written in English and Devanagari. At the bottom on a banner its tagline in Sanskrit ‘नित्यं यातो शुभोदयं’ meaning ‘Let the Rise of Goodness Happen Every Day’ is written.
