CHAUDHARY DEVI LAL UNIVERSITY Chaudhary Devi Lal University, Sirsa became an university in 2003 upon upgradation of Kurukshetra University Chaudhary Devi Lal Post Graduate Regional Centre. The emblem of the university has an open book with a quill pen and three leaves placed over a rising sun on a blue circle. The year of the establishment is written at the bottom. These are ensconced by a green circle on which its name is inscribed along with its motto in Sanskrit ‘श्रद्धावान् लभते ज्ञानम्’ (Verse 39, Chapter 4, Bhagavad Gita) meaning ‘The Believer Attains Knowledge’. BODOLAND UNIVERSITY Bodoland University is a State University established under the Bodoland University Act, 2009 of the Assam Legislative Assembly on February 28, 2009. The picturesque campus of the University is located at Rangila Khata in Kokrajhar. The emblem of the university is depicted like a chariot carrying the motifs of a traditional lamp, a lotus, an open book, its motto in Sanskrit ‘श्रद्धावान् लभते ज्ञानम्’ (Verse 39, Chapter 4, Bhagavad Gita) meaning ‘The Man of Faith Obtains Knowledge’, musical instruments from the locale and a pair of wheels carrying the hood of the chariot. Below these its place is written. On the yellow banner ensconcing the hood the name of the university is written. The logo has a decoration of red coloured festoons all along the borders. AMRITA VISHWA VIDYAPEETHAM Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham (AVV) is a multidisciplinary research university having six campuses spread across the States of Kerala, Tamilnadu and Karnataka with seven campuses at Amaravati, Amritapuri, Bengaluru, Chennai, Coimbatore, Kochi and Mysuru and NCR Delhi (Faridabad). The emblem of the university has six petalled lotus houses lotus standing water crested by a conch with a background of rising sun and topped by a Sanskrit quote ‘त्यागेनैके अमृतत्वमानशुः’ meaning ‘Immortality by Sacrifice’. Below this on a banner, the name of the sponsoring organisation ‘Mata Amritanandamayi Math’ is written.
