INDIAN SUPER LEAGUE The Indian Super League (ISL) is India’s unrivalled football championship which kicked off on October 12, 2014. The inaugural winners of the league were ATK FC, while Chennaiyin FC were the winners of the second season. The league is co-promoted by Reliance, Star India and supported by the All India Football Federation (AIFF). India’s leading industrialists and celebrities from sports as well as the Indian film industry have heavily invested in the league’s eleven franchises based in the following cities: Chennai, Bhubaneswar, Goa, Guwahati, Kochi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Jamshedpur. The logo has an abstract football in orangish red and dark red made up of hexagons. INDIAN INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY GUWAHATI Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, the sixth member of the IIT fraternity, was established in 1994. The academic programme of IIT Guwahati commenced in 1995. The motto of IIt Guwahati is ‘ज्ञान ही शक्ति है’ which means ‘Knowledge Is Power’. The emblem of IITG in Yellow ochre, red and blue  was designed by Yeshwant Chaudhary in 1994, based on the concept of sound connection between the mind, body and soul. The concept underlines the deep philosophy of cosmic beliefs in the field of yoga (a philosophy practised in India since the Vedic times). The triad connected with sound training and education creates a unified assimilation of true Indian values of education. 

TEA BOARD

TEA BOARD The Tea Board was constituted as a Statutory Body on April 1, 1954 under Section (4) of the Tea Act, 1953. The Board is headed by a chairman with head office at Kolkata. As an apex body for the tea industry in India, the Board has two zonal offices at Guwahati and Coonoor and 13 regional offices spread over different parts of India, one research centre at Kurseong (Darjeeling) and three foreign offices in London, Moscow and Dubai. The primary functions of the Board include rendering financial and technical assistance for cultivation, manufacture, marketing of tea; promoting tea exports; aiding research and developmental activities for augmentation of tea production and improvement of tea quality; encouraging and assisting the unorganized small growers sector financially and technically and collecting and maintaining statistical data and its publication for the benefit of growers, processors and exporters. Its logo has in dark green centre with tea buds in black and whi
