BLISSFUL HYGIENIC OFFERING TO GOD Blissful Hygienic Offering to God (BHOG) is an initiative put forth by Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) to encourage Places of Worship (PoW) to adopt and maintain food safety and hygiene as well as convey food safety messages through such places to the people to follow as responsible citizens. It encourages places of worship to adopt and maintain food safety and hygiene in preparation, serving and sale of prasad along with training of food handlers for basic food safety and hygiene. Its emblem in red colour has a silhouette image of Hindu, Christian, Sikh and Islamic places of worship supported by its acronym in lowercase. Below that its name is written in reverse.
