MAHARASHTRA NATIONAL LAW UNIVERSITY, AURANGABAD The tricolour emblem of Maharashtra National Law University, Aurangabad (MNLUA) has the picture of Kailash Temple pillar from Ellora caves located in Aurangabad supported by the swooshes of tricolour within a circle. This is ensconced by a blue and tricolour decorative borders in which its name and place are inscribed. Its motto in Sanskrit ‘यतो धर्मस्ततो जयः’ ( Mahabharata ) meaning ‘Where There is Dharma, There will Be Victory’ is inscribed below the seal.

VIDHYADEEP UNIVERSITY The blue and cyan emblem of Vidhyadeep University (VU) has a facade of an entrance with three pillars holding a mortarboard hat, supporting a set of five stars ensconced by a cyan circular border. These are supported by an open book symbolising knowledge, wisdom, education and learning. The name of the university is written at the bottom using sans serif font. The three pillars of the facade symbolise the bridge to heaven from earth and pillar means strength, security of foundation and trustworthiness; the mortarboard hat or oxford hat educational achievement, equality, tradition and rights of passage symbolises and the set of five stars denote perfect harmony among all things in life, with its points providing insight into how we can strive towards achieving this goal. The pillars end as an inverted pencil, which symbolises freedom, intelligence, creativity, professionalism, determination and diligence.

IILM UNIVERSITY The blue and maroon emblem of IILM University, (IILMU) is a blue shield with a maroon band on top and a maroon rising sun behind a façade with four pillars standing on a blue base. The maroon band hosts the motifs of an open book, a swan on water in a circle and a traditional lamp. Its name IILM, meaning ‘knowledge’ in Persian, is placed on the right of the shield in serif capital typeface. JHARKHAND RAI UNIVERSITY The emblem of Jharkhand Rai University (JRU) has a red shield with thick golden borderline. The shield houses three pillars with three flames and a pen is placed on the pillars horizontally. At the left top corner of the shield three eight pointed golden stars are placed. The pen represents freedom, intelligence, creativity, professionalism, determination and diligence; the three pillars denote dedication, determination and discipline; the flames denote the ignition of creativity, wisdom and character; the shield signifies protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the three stars denote perfect harmony among all things in life, with its points providing insight into how we can strive towards achieving this goal; the colour red signifies signifies passion, power, strength, courage, determination, energy and celebration and the colour gold wealth, prosperity, power, prestige and achievement.

SANSKRITI UNIVERSITY Sanskriti University is established vide the UGC Public Notice Serial No.22; Uttar Pradesh Government letter Authorising Operationalisation of University, 2016-17. The emblem of the university has a dark blue rectangle with gold border lines with a motif of a facade of a three pillared entrance supported by its name written in serif font and its motto ‘For Excellence in Life’ placed at the bottom. A pillar symbolises strength, security and trustworthiness and the three pillar facade symbolises wisdom, strength and beauty in addition to the basic properties. The colour blue symbolises serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty.

RK UNIVERSITY RK University (RKU) is a private university in Rajkot, Gujarat created on October 12, 2011. Founded in the year 2001, Shri Shamjibhai Harjibhai Talavia Charitable Trust (SHTCT) is the founder of RK University. The emblem of the university is a façade of a traditional entrance of a building with two grey colour pillars supporting a red arch or arc, below which its name is written in black. The two pillars of the grey colour façade symbolises the bridge to heaven from earth and pillar means strength, security of foundation and trustworthiness. SOUTH INDIAN BANK LIMITED One of the earliest banks in South India, ‘South Indian Bank Limited’ came into being during the swadeshi movement. In the erstwhile logo of the bank, the unique picture is that of a coconut tree. The fronds of the coconut palm form the basic theme of logo. The sharp ends of the fronds are smoothened, thickened and twisted to form a ‘S’ denoting South Indian Bank. Thus the new logo has the continuity from its erstwhile logo. It can also be seen as two hands clinging to a strong pillar in the middle.
