BURDWAN UNIVERSITY

BURDWAN UNIVERSITY Burdwan University is a State University which was established on June 15, 1965. The circular emblem of this university has a gear wheel with sixteen teeth holding the motif of a decorative column standing on a lotus pedestal and supported on either side by scroll designs. These are ensconced by a border on which the name of the university is inscribed in Devanagari and Bengali. The gear wheel symbolises interconnectedness; efficiency and precision; progress and advancement; synchronisation, timing, order and structure and the decorated column signifies dharma and being virtuous.

GOA UNIVERSITY

GOA UNIVERSITY Goa University (GU) has three campuses in Panaji, Margao and Vasco da Gama. Its history dates back to the 17th century, when the Portuguese established the first university courses in Goa. However, it wasn't until after Goa was annexed by India that the university was consolidated, with the University of Mumbai establishing the Centre for Postgraduate Instruction and Research (CPIR) in Panaji in 1962. The present university was established under the Goa University Act of 1984 (Act No. 7 of 1984) and commenced operations on June 1, 1985 replacing the CPIR. The emblem of the university in the shape of an oval takes the form of a scroll. BIRANGANA SATI SADHANI RAJYIK VISHWAVIDYALAYA Birangana Sati Sadhani Rajyik Vishwavidyalaya (BSSRV) has been established by the Government of Assam under the Birangana Sati Sadhani Rajyik Vishwavidyalaya Act 2020. The emblem of the university has a brown circular border which carries the name of the university holding the motifs of a nib of a pen, a head with mortarboard hat on a blue circular slab with planets and an open book supporting all these. On either side of these is a laurel and on the back a scroll. The name of the university is written in Assamese and its year of establishment surmount all these motifs. There is a green colour base on which all the elements are placed and on its edges the place of the university is written. RAJIV GANDHI PROUDYOGIKI VISHWAVIDYALAYA Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya (RGPV) was established in the year 1998, by Madhya Pradesh Vidhan Sabha Act 13, 1998. Falcon, the mascot of RGPV, holding a scroll of a diploma certificate in its beak, portrays the engineers graduating from RGPV, with their infinite capabilities and specialised skills. The falcon holding a pen in one of its claws, symbolises the power of expression. Its armour is the manifestation of modern technology. Equipped with comprehensive knowledge and professional abilities, an engineer graduating from RGPV shall soar above and govern the universe with wisdom and creative ability. The paddy grasped by the other claw represents the productivity and consequent prosperity resulting from the efforts of the graduates in their profession. Its motto in Sanskrit ‘प्रज्ञानं ब्रह्म’ meaning ‘Wisdom is the Brahman’ is  inscribed on a red banner below the emblem.

KOTA UNIVERSITY

KOTA UNIVERSITY The Kota University was established in the year 2003 by the Government of Rajasthan through the University of Kota Act, 2003 on June 7, 2003. The emblem of the university has a turquoise blue wheel forming the circumference as the symbol of progress and movement. The colour represents imagination and creativity. The inner circle in light cadmium yellow denotes wisdom earned through poise and dignity. The central circle in prussian blue denotes the depth of oceans, for the students to emerge as more deeper individuals. The circles indicate a wholesome and all round development of students.
