SHELLACAND FOREST PRODUCTS EXPORT PROMOTION COUNCIL Shellac and Forest Products Export Promotion Council (SFPEPC)), is sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce, Government of India to promote India’s exports of shellac and lac based products is being rechristened as Shellac And Forest Products Export Promotion Council (SHEFEXIL). This is the nodal export promotion council to promote exports of ‘minor forest produce’ and the registering authority for the related exporters under the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004-09. And since then has been the voice of Indian business community. With the headquarter at Kolkata, and regional offices at New Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai, CAPEXIL has more than 3500 members across the country.
