INDIAN INSTITUTE OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY, KOTTAYAM Indian Institute of Information Technology, Kottayam (IIITK) at Valavoor, Pala, Kerala is one among the IIITs that have been established as "Institutions of National Importance" by Ministry of Education, Govt. of India under the ambit of IIIT (PPP) Act 2017. IIITK was founded in 2015. It is spread over in 53 acres of land allotted by Govt. of Kerala in the southern part of the state. The investment for this institution was made by Government of India, Government of Kerala and industry partner in the ratio of 50:35:15, Its predominantly green square emblem has winding paths in blue. Adjacent to that is its name and place written in black. It is a bright and vibrant logo to inspire students towards the path of hitherto unknown growth.
