CHIDAMBARANAR PORT AUTHORITY  2023 The blue and light blue emblem of V.O.Chidambaranar Port Authority (VOCPA) which was revised in 2023, has its name written as a monogram with letters ‘VOC’ as a ship in port. Below this its tagline ‘Global Connect’ is written and at the right its name is written in Tamil, Devanagari and English. The colour blue denotes water and symbolises serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty. V.O. CHIDAMBARANAR PORT AUTHORITY  2023 Its emblem has a lighthouse, a ship, a crane and other elements of seaport are in the form of a seashell ensconced by a yellow circle, on the border of which its name is written in Tamil, Devanagari and English in cyan. Thoothukudi is historically well known for pearl forming. The circle has an orange border.

SAGARMALA The insignia for Sagarmala, the port-led development of logistics, has a helm of ship housing a motif of ship on flowing waters, a port, a connecting road to the land and a factory in tricolour of the National Flag. Below these pictorial its name is written. At the bottom its tagline 'Port-led Development' is written. The logo is legible, representative and informative.

UTKAL UNIVERSITY Pandit Godavarish Mishra, the then Minister of Education, introduced the Utkal University Bill, which was passed by the Odisha Legislative Assembly on June 30, 1943. The university started functioning from this date in room number fifteen of Ravenshaw College, Cuttack in November 27, 1943. The emblem of the university has a book and a lamp at the centre signifying the pursuit of knowledge and kindling the light of knowledge. GREATER CHENNAI CORPORATION The Greater Chennai Corporation (previously Madras) (GCC)is the Oldest Municipal Institution in India established on the September 29, 1688. A charter was issued on the December 30, 1607 by East India Company constituting the ‘Town of Fort St. George’ and all the territories thereunto belonging, not exceeding the distance of ten miles from the Fort, into a Corporation. The Parliamentary Act of 1792 gave the Corporation power to levy Municipal Taxes in the City. The Municipal administration properly commenced from the Parliamentary Act, 1792 making provision for the good order and administration of the city. The Municipal Act has been amended introducing from time to time major changes in the constitution and powers of the Corporation. The Madras Municipal Corporation Act, 1919 (as amended) provides the basic Statutory authority for the administration now.
