THE UNIVERSITY OF TRANS-DISCIPLINARY HEALTH SCIENCES AND TECHNOLOGY The University of Trans-Disciplinary Health Sciences and Technology (TDU) sponsored by the FRLHT Trust, was legislated by the Government of Karnataka, in 2013. The university promotes trans-disciplinary research and education. The logo of the university is a monogram using the acronym of the name ‘TDU’ in blue and yellow overlapping bold sans serif font, with the areas of intersections in the mixed colour - green. The name of the university is written in grey at the bottom aligned in right. The bold font and the strong colours with intersections aptly speak about the nature of the university and its stated goals. The colour blue represents trust, serenity, calmness, depth and loyalty; the colour yellow symbolises happiness, energy, vitality, focus and creativity and the colour green indicates natural, vitality, prestige, wealth and being very down to earth.
