CHAUDHARY DEVI LAL UNIVERSITY Chaudhary Devi Lal University, Sirsa became an university in 2003 upon upgradation of Kurukshetra University Chaudhary Devi Lal Post Graduate Regional Centre. The emblem of the university has an open book with a quill pen and three leaves placed over a rising sun on a blue circle. The year of the establishment is written at the bottom. These are ensconced by a green circle on which its name is inscribed along with its motto in Sanskrit ‘श्रद्धावान् लभते ज्ञानम्’ (Verse 39, Chapter 4, Bhagavad Gita) meaning ‘The Believer Attains Knowledge’. The open book denotes knowledge, wisdom and education; the quill pen symbolises a sense of lightness and balance; the three leaves symbolise faith, love and hope; the rising sun means light, universal prosperity and path for growth; the colour yellow denotes happiness, energy, vitality, focus and creativity; the colour blue means serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelli

UTTARAKHAND AYURVED UNIVERSITY Uttarakhand Ayurved University (UAU) is a public state university located in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India. It was established in 2009 by the Government of Uttarakhand. Its yellow, orange green and blue emblem has an orange rising sun supported by its motto in Sanskrit ‘शाश्वतो अयमायुर्वेदः’ meaning ‘The Eternal Ayurveda’ and a few book topped with a herb, ensconced in circular border bearing its name in Devanagari and English. The rising sun denotes light, universal prosperity and path for growth the herb symbolises the study of ayurveda and the book denotes knowledge and wisdom.

RANI LAKSHMI BAI CENTRAL AGRICULTURAL UNIVERSITY Rani Lakshmi Bai Central Agricultural University (RLBCAU) Act was passed by both the Parliament and published on March 5, 2014. The circular emblem of this university in yellow, orange, green and blue has motifs of a cattle, trees, a farmer, gladiolus flowers, water, a fish, a cellular phone, a computer, satellite antenna, laboratory beakers, a flask, DNA structure, a microscope, a book, a gear wheel and rising sun all ensconced in a blue circle and surrounded by a border carrying the name of the university Devanagari and English. On either side of this is supported a stem of wheat heads and supported by an orange banner stating its year of establishment. At the bottom on a yellow banner its motto in Sanskrit ‘कृषि सर्व जीवनस्य अधारम्’ meaning 'Agriculture is the Basis of All Life’.
