OIL AND NATURAL GAS CORPORATION LIMITED Oil and NAtural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC) is the largest crude oil and natural gas Company in India, contributing around 71 per cent to Indian domestic production. ONGC made changes in the old Vasudhara symbol, the name of its first oil well on August 14, 2004, to give it a corporate identity. The colour of the new logo represent the sun and the earth. It depicts the image of a flowing well (Vasudhara means flow of wealth), which is vibrant, full of life and active all the time.
