WORLD UNIVERSITY OF DESIGN World University of Design (WUD) is India's first and only university dedicated to education in the creative domain, established by the Haryana Private Universities Act, 2006. The logo of the university is made up of six intersecting lines in a heptagon on a black background. These intersections have created an abstract and virtual ‘W’ and ‘D’. Heptagon is known for mysticism and spirituality, which the university endeavours to unravel through its teaching and learning in design. It also symbolises the seven liberal arts and sciences of the mediaeval period. It symbolises seven planets and unity, harmony and stability as required in any design enterprise. NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF DESIGN HARYANA

NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF DESIGN HARYANA National Institute of Design Kurukshetra, Haryana, was established on November 15, 2016 as an autonomous institute under the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India. NIDK’s logo is a monogram created using the acronym ‘NIDK’ with blue lines. The logo is an abstract, clean and a tidy piece of graphic design and it stands out well for its grace and precision.

HARYANA POLICE

HARYANA POLICE The State of Haryana was carved out of Punjab on November 1, 1966. At that time it comprised of one police range and six districts and had a strength of 12165 personnel. Today, the State is divided into four Ranges, three Police Commissionerates - Ambala-Panchkula, Gurgaon and Faridabad and seventeen districts besides the Railway Police district. Now, Haryana Police has a total strength of -73391 (Gazetted Officers - 470, Inspectors - 1086, Sub Inspectors - 3680, Assistant Sub Inspectors - 6182, Head Constables – 12778 and Constables - 49195). The Haryana Police arms show the capitals ‘Ha Pa’ acronym for Haryana Police, crested by the Asoka capital and surrounded by a garland. EMBLEM OF HARYANA

EMBLEM OF HARYANA The state of Haryana was split from Punjab state on November 1,1966. The main part of the actual state was ceded to the East India Company in 1803. In 1832 it was added to the Northwest Provinces and in 1858 to Punjab to which it belonged until 1966. In the centre of the state the Principality of Jind was located. The emblem of Haryana shows a sun and a lotus-flower rising from a lake. The title of the emblem is 'Government of Haryana'. It is surrounded by a garland of ears of wheat and has the national symbol with motto of the Indian Republic as a crest.
