NATIONAL INSTITUTE FOR SMART GOVERNMENT

NATIONAL INSTITUTE FOR SMART GOVERNMENT National Institute for Smart Government (NISG) was set up as a non-profit company setup in Public-Private-Partnership (PPP) in 2002 with 51% equity contributed by the private sector and 49% by the public sector under the recommendations of The National Taskforce on Information Technology and Software Development. The NISG was registered as a Section 25 company in May 2002 with its headquarters at Hyderabad. The vision of NISG is to establish itself as a centre of excellence in e-Governance to facilitate application of public and private resources to e-Governance in the areas of: strategic planning, project consulting, capacity building, and research and innovation. The NISG logo has a unique typeface wherein the letter ‘N’ has been shown as a bridge which depicts the connection between public and private sector.

INDIAN INSTITUTE OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY RAICHUR

INDIAN INSTITUTE OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY RAICHUR The Indian Institute of Information Technology, Raichur has been brought into existence as a registered society, through the IIIT Laws (Amendment) Act 2020 which in turn has amended the IIIT (PPP) Act 2017 by inserting the name of this Institute in the schedule thereof. The designers of the symmetrical IIIT Raichur logo had considered different factors incuding the reproduction cost, as the logo will be printed on various materials and surfaces the colours are kept to a minimum in order to keep the printing process simpler and economic. The concept evolved from many ideas and some of the key features are generated from the philosophy of IIIT. IIITs are known for their excellence in teaching and research and it continues without stopping and it has no limits. The logo is designed by Prof. Deepak John Mathew, Department of Design, IIT Hyderabad.

INDIAN INSTITUTE OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY AGARTALA

INDIAN INSTITUTE OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY AGARTALA Indian Institute of Information Technology Agartala (IIIT-Agartala), is one of the Indian Institutes of Information Technology (PPP) in the country, set up with the objective of making available facilities for higher education, research and training in various fields of Information Technology. The three ‘i’s are arranged as the radius of a circle, with an orange dot forming their top. This arrangement also forms the letter ‘T’, which is supported by ‘o’ on left and ‘A’ on right. ‘A’ stands for Agartala and ‘O’ stands for binary along with one of the radius. All these are ensconced in a circle on the border of which its name and place are written.

INDIAN INSTITUTE OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY BHAGALPUR

INDIAN INSTITUTE OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY BHAGALPUR Indian Institute of Information Technology, Bhagalpur (IIIT Bhagalpur) is one of the IIITs set up by MHRD, Govt of India in Public Private Partnership (PPP) mode. It started functioning from the academic year 2017. Bhagalpur is known as the silk city, so the letters IIIT are designed to imitate the weaving pattern done in Bhagalpuri Saree. The geometric structure takes inspiration from the main stupa at the centre of Vikrasmshila Mahavidyalaya situated 38 kilometres from Bhagalpur. Technically the profile and shape of the entire logo resembles the NOT gate of a digital circuit resembling the inclination of the institute towards IT. The Red dot symbolises the rising sun. The colour palette is taken from the IIT Guwahati logo as IITG is the mentor for IIIT Bhagalpur. The logo as a whole signifies the rise of the institute. Its motto in Sanskrit is ‘चारित्रयम् मम जीवनम्’ meaning ‘The Three Characters are My Life’.

INDIAN INSTITUTE OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY BHOPAL

INDIAN INSTITUTE OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY BHOPAL Indian Institute of Information Technology Bhopal (IIIT-Bhopal), is one of the IIITs in PPP model. Its emblem is circular and has a dominant blue border, on which its name is written in Devanagari and English. It ensconces its acronym as a monogram in the national tricolour. The dot of first ‘i’ is depicted as a ‘WiFi’ symbol and the t’s horizontal stroke is extended towards left to give symmetry and balance to the logo. Its motto ‘विद्ययाऽमृतमश्नुते’ in Sanskrit meaning ‘Education is Equivalent to Nectar’ is written on a banner below the monogram.

INDIAN INSTITUTE OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY LUCKNOW

INDIAN INSTITUTE OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY LUCKNOW Indian Institute of Information Technology, Lucknow (IIIT Lucknow) is one of the twenty IIITs being set up by the Central Government in Public Private Partnership (PPP) mode. IIIT Lucknow admitted its first batch of B. Tech. in Information Technology with an intake of fifty students with effect from the academic session 2015-16. Its emblem is cast in the form of an arch from the prevailing Mughal architecture, in which a smaller arch in orange and brown coloured arch and nodes of an electronic circuit in green forms the hub and the shape of the logo is filled with. The acronym in blue is designed as an entrance column of an arch, with ‘I, T and L’ forming the pillars, the top stroke of the ‘T’ forming the beam. Its motto in Sanskrit ‘विद्या ददति विनयं, विनयं दादति पातरताम्’ meaning ‘Education Gives Humility, Humility Gives Character’ is placed at the bottom.

INDIAN INSTITUTE OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SONEPAT

INDIAN INSTITUTE OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SONEPAT Indian Institute of Information Technology, Sonepat (IIIT, Sonepat) is one of the Indian Institutes of Information Technology located at Sonepat, Haryana in 2014. IIIT Sonepat is a joint venture of the Government of India and the Government of Haryana with Industries in Public-Private Partnership model. The emblem of IIIT-S has a satellite and receiving antenna, supported by a pair of strokes of power that is ensconced in curved octagonal shape, on each alternative leaf which has motifs of WiFi, electronic processor, globe and a printed circuit. This assemblage is supported by a semicircular blue border at the bottom bearing the name of the Institute. The circle is completed by a pair of yellow laurels and completed by a banner bearing the year of establishment. At the button on a banner its motto in Sanskrit ‘तेजस्वी नावध्वीतमस्तु’ meaning ‘Let the Ship of Brilliance is Alerted’ is written.

INDIAN INSTITUTE OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY VADODARA

INDIAN INSTITUTE OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY VADODARA Indian Institute of Information Technology Vadodara (IIIT-V) is established by the Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India under Public Private Partnership (PPP) as Institute of National Importance in the year 2013. Its circular insignia has three ‘I’s written as three solid vertical blocks and ‘T’ written with three solid square dots above them and ‘V’ written like an inverted right-angled triangle, symbolising three persons and a learning desk and computer. This is ensconced by a circular border on which its name is written in Devanagari and English. This logo is simple, straight, solid and stands out well from clutter.

INDIAN INSTITUTE OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY GUWAHATI

INDIAN INSTITUTE OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY GUWAHATI Indian Institute of Information Technology Guwahati (IIITG) is an institution of National Importance under an Act of Parliament. The first convocation of the Institute was held on May 15, 2018. Its insignia in blue is a monogram of its acronym ‘IIITG’, in which three ‘I’s and ‘T’ are arranged in ascending order by size and the horizontal stroke of ‘T’ takes off as a circular loop ensconcing the ‘IIIT’. This logo appears like a well-constructed and solid building vertical columns in a nurturing environment.

INDIAN INSTITUTE OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY KOTA

INDIAN INSTITUTE OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY KOTA Indian Institute of Information Technology, Kota (IIIT, Kota) is a joint venture of the Ministry of Education (MoE) Government of India and Government of Rajasthan with industry partners in Public-Private-Partnership (PPP) model and was established in 2013. Its orange and blue logo has a traditional lamp ensconced in a blue border. The name of the Institute is written on the border in English and Devanagari. The lamp has a chip supported on top and bottom by its tagline in Sanskrit ‘तत्पूजा कर्मचारिवलं’ and English ‘Work is Worship’. On either side are two women working on laptops. On the left side of the flame a girl stands with raised hands supporting icons of QC, cloud and AI and on the right side a boy is supporting icons of SC, electronics and binary.

INDIAN INSTITUTE OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY NAGPUR Indian Institute of Information Technology, Nagpur (IIITN) is one of the 20 Indian Institutes of Information Technology established under the Public-Private Partnership Scheme by the Ministry of Education Government of India in 2016-17. Its orange and violet logo is a monogram of its acronym of its name uses extra bold sans serif typeface. The letter ‘T’, which also foms the vertical stroke of 'N' is converted into an upward looking arrow of red colour and is topped by the symbol for WiFi.

INDIAN INSTITUTE OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SRI CITY

INDIAN INSTITUTE OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SRI CITY Indian Institute of Information Technology Sri City, Chittoor known as IIIT Sri City (IIITS) was established in 2013 by the Ministry of Education, Government of India as an Institute of National importance by an Act of Parliament. IIITS is one among the twenty Institutes across India, focusing on Information Technology education, research and development. Its circular logo has a seven petalled lotus in shades of pink and above it a rising sun in shades of yellow and orange, placed within a circle. The name of the institution is written along the periphery. On a banner placed at the bottom ‘SRI CITY’ is written. The banner is supported by Sudarshana Chakra on the left and Panchajanya on the right side. Chakra (discus) represents victory over evil and the Panchajanya (conch) represents beginning and spreading of goodness.

SMART CITYMISSION

SMART CITY MISSION Smart City Mission was launched by the Hon’ Prime Minister on June 25, 2015. The main objective of the mission is to promote cities that provide core infrastructure, clean and sustainable environment and give a decent quality of life to their citizens through the application of ‘smart solutions’. The mission aims to drive economic growth and improve quality of life through comprehensive work on social, economic, physical and institutional pillars of the city. The pictorial emblem of this mission is a butterfly, transforming itself from a grey and dull colour to the bright and vibrant colours. The transformation is shown by the pixelation of the picture and the letter 'i'. This also uses the colours of the national flag - orange and green. The name and tagline ‘Mission Transform Nation’ is written below. The elements of the logo are aligned to the right to give a forward and upward looking visual momentum.

GMR GROUP

GMR GROUP It was in 1978, when G M Rao started off with a small jute mill and established, over three decades later, what is known today as GMR Group. GMR today is a major player in the infrastructure sector, with world class projects in India and abroad. GMR Group is headquartered in New Delhi and has been developing projects in high growth areas such as airports, energy, transportation and urban infrastructure. Its logo in the form of a wordmark has ‘GMR’ written with bold sans serif letters with sharp trimmings and precise ends in blue, red and orange colours. The ‘M’ is made up of two vertical pointers, simulating infrastructure and construction placed above ‘G’ and ‘R’. The colours used are prominent and they show strength and dynamism of the group in its chosen field of business. GMR Group is a world renowned infrastructure developer with an excellent track record

INDIAN INSTITUTE OF CRAFTS & DESIGN, JAIPUR

INDIAN INSTITUTE OF CRAFTS & DESIGN, JAIPUR Indian Institute of Crafts & Design, Jaipur (IICD) was registered as Institute of Crafts, Jaipur on April 20, 1995 by the Registrar of Societies, Rajasthan, Jaipur under the Rajasthan Societies Registration Act 1958. Its name was changed to Indian Institute of Crafts and Design, Rajasthan, Jaipur under section 12 of the said Act on April 27, 1998. The first batch of postgraduate students was started in 1999. The first convocation was held in 2003 for the postgraduate students. An MoU was signed between the Government of Rajasthan and Ambuja Educational Institute (AEI) for transferring the management of IICD to AEI under Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model on August 6, 2007. Its greyish magenta monochrome emblem is a 12 petalled lotus depicted by a paper and cloth with a big solid circle representing different materials referring different courses. Below this its name in Devanagari and English in black and grey are written.

KEMPEGOWDA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

KEMPEGOWDA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT Kempegowda International Airport, Bengaluru (BLR Airport), named after founder of the City - Hiriya Kempegowda - is the first Greenfield Airport in India, established on a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model. Its logo has got an emblem consisting of petals from the flowers three plants found in Bangalore - Jacaranda (Jacaranda mimosifolia) – greenish blue, Gulmohur (Delonix regia) - Orange and the Copper Pod (Peltophorum pterocarpum) – yellow. Below this is its name ‘Kempegowda’ written in greenish blue and below that is ‘International Airport, Bengaluru’ in black. The logo was designed by Ray and Keshavan of the Brand Union.
