US INDIA BUSINESS COUNCIL The circular blue and red emblem of the US India Business Council (UIBC) has a chakra with a red outline and eight red stars. These are ensconced by a blue circular outline. The wheel and stars represent India and the United States of America. The colours red and blue too represent both the countries.

INDO-BELGIAN-LUXEMBOURG CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY The pictorial emblem of Indo-Belgian-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IBLCCI) is an abstract depiction of a tiara using strokes of the national colours of India, Belgium and Luxembourg crested by three stars. The three stars and the colours represent the three nations and the tiara denotes power and status.

P P SAVANI UNIVERSITY The emblem of P P Savani University (PPSU) in the tones of red, orange and blue has a pictorial motif of a white nib of a pen supporting three pairs of swooshes holding the motif human head. These are supported by a blue colour segment which has a pair of three stars. The emblem looks vibrant and energetic and attracts attention. The nib symbolises freedom, intelligence, creativity, professionalism, determination and diligence which supports an enlightened human and the pair of  three stars denote perfect harmony among all things in life, with its points providing insight into how we can strive towards achieving this goal. At the bottom of the pictorial its name is written in black sans serif bold font.

DR. B.R. AMBEDKAR UNIVERSITY The blue circular emblem of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University (DBRAU) has a shield divided into two parts and the top band houses an open book which denotes education, learning, knowledge and wisdom and the bottom portion houses two stars and a sun symbolising the expansive universe and timelessness of knowledge produced by the university and its year of inception. These are ensconced by a circular border, which carries its name and place in Devanagari and its motto in Sanskrit ‘तमसो मा  ज्योतिर्गमय’ (Yajnavalkya,1.3.28, Pavamana Mantra, Brihadaranyaka Upanishad) meaning ‘From Darkness Lead me to Light’. The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery and the colour blue signifies serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty.

SOUTHERN COMMAND

SOUTHERN COMMAND The Southern Command , India’s oldest field army has a history spanning over two centuries. Its origin, however, can be traced even earlier to the era of the East India Company in India in the 17th century and the evolution of the Presidency Armies. Pune was established as a military station in the early 1800s and has been synonymous with the Command since then. The Command came into existence in 1895. Today, the Southern Command comprises of its two Corps, 12 and 21 located at Jodhpur and Bhopal. The Maharashtra, Gujarat and Goa Area, with its headquarter at Mumbai and the Andhra, Tamilnadu, Karnataka and Kerala Area with its headquarter at Chennai also come within its ambit. Southern Command encompasses nine States and four Union Territories covering nearly forty percent of the Country. This includes an area of about 24,07,315 square kilometers.
