BANGALORE METRO RAIL CORPORATION LIMITED Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL), a joint venture of Government of India and Government of Karnataka is a Special Purpose Vehicle entrusted with the responsibility of implementation of Bangalore Metro Rail Project. The logo was designed by Jayanth Jain and Mahendra Kumar of A Brand New Story. The emblem in purple with green dots, depict a rangoli which graces the front yards of houses, which is a part of Bengaluru’s culture. Its never-ending loop signifies ‘infinite’ coverage of metro lines. The tagline ‘namma metro’ in green is a friendly phrase used by Kannadigas.
