INDIAN INSTITUTE OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY LUCKNOW Indian Institute of Information Technology, Lucknow (IIIT Lucknow) is one of the twenty IIITs being set up by the Central Government in Public Private Partnership (PPP) mode. IIIT Lucknow admitted its first batch of B. Tech. in Information Technology with an intake of fifty students with effect from the academic session 2015-16. Its emblem is cast in the form of an arch from the prevailing Mughal architecture, in which a smaller arch in orange and brown coloured arch and nodes of an electronic circuit in green forms the hub and the shape of the logo is filled with. The acronym in blue is designed as an entrance column of an arch, with ‘I, T and L’ forming the pillars, the top stroke of the ‘T’ forming the beam. Its motto in Sanskrit ‘विद्या ददति विनयं, विनयं दादति पातरताम्’ meaning ‘Education Gives Humility, Humility Gives Character’ is placed at the bottom.

BHARAT ELECTRONICS LIMITED Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) was established in 1954 under the Ministry of Defence to meet the specialised electronic needs of the Indian Defence. BEL has grown into a multi-product, multi- technology, multi-unit conglomerate empowering the nation’s armed forces to guard the country’s frontiers with state-of-the-art products and systems in the areas of radars and fire control systems, missile systems, communication and c4i systems, electronic warfare and avionics, naval systems and antisubmarine warfare systems, electro optics, tank electronics and gun upgrades and strategic components. Its logo is in cyan and black colour with a monogram and text. The monogram is created using its acronym and was inspired by the shape of a transistor. While the italics ‘B’ is a negative and the ‘E’ is a positive image without their vertical strokes, the name of the company is written in Hindi and English adjacent to this. MEITY STARTUP HUB India is home to one of the most vibrant startup ecosystems with close to 8000 tech startups, making it the second largest startup ecosystem in the world. The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) is leading and facilitating a gamut of Innovation and IPR related activities across the country towards expansion of this ecosystem. In order to facilitate MeitY’s vision of promoting technology innovation, start-ups and creation of Intellectual Properties, a nodal entity called ‘MeitY Start-up Hub’ (MSH) has been set up under its aegis. The logo in the colours of the Indian national flag has icons of two persons in orange and green collaborating in a huddle. It is supported by the name of the project placed below this pictorial.

The Centre is a premier organisation for education, training, R&D and consultancy in IT and electronics. The history of NIELIT dates back to 1974 when the Department of Electronics (DoE) now Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MEIT), Government of India and the University Grants Commission (UGC) set up the first CEDT within the premises of Indian Institute of Science (IISc.), Bangalore with assistance from Swiss Development Corporation. NATIONAL POLICY ON ELECTRONICS The National Policy on Electronics (NPE) was framed by the Government of India to boost its electronics systems design and manufacturing industry and improve its global market share., The Department of Electronics and Information Technology (DeitY), Government of India, has adopted the logo of ‘Electronics India’ with the tagline ‘Billion Needs Million Chips’, to promote the Electronics Sector under NPE. The emblem for Electronics India is an abstract mark comprising of a graphic and text. One can notice the usage of vibrant colours in the emblem.
