The lotus refers to purity, enlightenment, rebirth, transformation, personal growth, resilience, overcoming obstacles and divine beauty and the letter ॐ or Ohm is a symbol representing a sacred sound, syllable, mantra and an invocation and the colour orange symbolises energy, vitality, creativity, inspiration, joy and happiness.

CHIDAMBARANAR PORT AUTHORITY  2023 The blue and light blue emblem of V.O.Chidambaranar Port Authority (VOCPA) which was revised in 2023, has its name written as a monogram with letters ‘VOC’ as a ship in port. Below this its tagline ‘Global Connect’ is written and at the right its name is written in Tamil, Devanagari and English. The colour blue denotes water and symbolises serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty. V.O. CHIDAMBARANAR PORT AUTHORITY  2023 Its emblem has a lighthouse, a ship, a crane and other elements of seaport are in the form of a seashell ensconced by a yellow circle, on the border of which its name is written in Tamil, Devanagari and English in cyan. Thoothukudi is historically well known for pearl forming. The circle has an orange border.

JAIPUR NATIONAL UNIVERSITY The emblem of Jaipur National University (JNU) has a shield in tones of orange housing the motifs of a sun and a book. The shield is supported by the university’s motto in Sanskrit ‘गुणस्याभरणं ज्ञानं’ meaning ‘Knowledge Adorns Good Qualities’ and a pair of laurels. Below these, on a golden yellow banner the name of the university is written. The shield symbolises protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the sun symbolises life, energy, power, positivity, illumination, light and clarity; the open book symbolises knowledge, learning, education and wisdom; the laurels symbolise ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication and the colour orange denotes energy, vitality, creativity, inspiration, joy and happiness.

MADHUSUDAN LAW UNIVERSITY

MADHUSUDAN LAW UNIVERSITY The Madhusudan Law University (MLU) was established on the birth anniversary of Madhusudan Das on April 28, 2021. The university started its official functioning on the same day, under the guidance and vision of the founding vice chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Kamal Jeet Singh. The yellow and orange and emblem of the university has a two-pan beam balance representing the scales of justice supported by an open book which symbolises knowledge, wisdom and education with rising sun supporting these two motifs. The sun symbolises light, universal prosperity and path for growth. All the motifs are ensconced by a circular border which carries the name of the university and its place. Below this emblem, on a banner its motto in Sanskrit ‘धर्मो रक्षति रक्षितः’ (Verse 8.15, Manusmriti, Mahabharata) meaning ‘Those Who Protect the Dharma are Protected by Dharma’ is inscribed.

SHREE SOMNATH SANSKRIT UNIVERSITY

SHREE SOMNATH SANSKRIT UNIVERSITY Shree Somnath Sanskrit University (SSSU) was created by the Gujarat State government through the Shree Somnath Sanskrit University Act in 2005 for the research and teaching of Sanskrit literature. The emblem of the university has a traditional lamp placed on a bunch of palm leaf manuscripts and placed in a yellow circle with an orange border. It is ensconced by a yellow and orange border on which its name and place is written in Devanagari. Below the circle, on a banner, the motto of the university is inscribed with a quote from Kalidasa’s Meghdootam 20. It reads in Sanskrit ‘पूर्णता गौरवाय’ meaning ‘Fullness Contributes to Heaviness and the Best (Respect)’. The palm leaf manuscript symbolises the traditional knowledge and wisdom; the traditional lamp symbolises light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity; the colour yellow denotes happiness, energy, vitality, focus and creativity and orange

TILKA MANJHI BHAGALPUR UNIVERSITY The Tilka Manjhi Bhagalpur University (TMBU), also known as Bhagalpur University, is a premier institution for providing higher education in the state of Bihar. The university is situated in Bhagalpur town of Bihar State and is named after famous freedom fighter Tilka Manjhi. Established on July 12, 1960, it is a public university. The yellow and orange circular logo has a traditional lamp supported by an open book ensconced in a circular gear wheel and this assemblage is placed in an yellow circle. It has a white border which carries its motto in Sanskrit ‘तमसो मा ज्योतिर्गमय’ meaning ‘From Darkness, Lead me to Light’ and its name in Devanagari. The traditional lamp symbolises light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity; the open book is a symbol of knowledge and wisdom and the gear wheel denotes interconnectedness; efficiency and precision; progress and advancement.
