ESAF SMALL FINANCE BANK LIMITED ESAF Small Finance Bank (ESAF SFB) started its journey as an NGO during the year 1992. K. Paul Thomas the Founder of ESAF launched Micro Enterprises Development (MED) services in 1995 and it resulted in the formation of ESAF Microfinance and Investments Pvt. Ltd., in 2008. ESAF SFB got the approval of RBI in November 2016. The logo of the bank has a blue motif and a red wordmark of its name on its right. Its name is written below these. Its tagline 'Joy of Banking’ is written in grey sans serif italics at the right bottom of the logo. The bank's logo is a depiction of two unique pluses. A plus sign is an integral part of financial institutions and it has relevance from a social service perspective as well. It reflects the return (gain) we offer to every stakeholder including customers, investors, shareholders and employees in more ways than one. The two equal sized pluses optimise two humans in egalitarianism, magnifying our motto
