HIMACHAL TOURISM DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION LTD. The emblem of Himachal Tourism Development Corporation Ltd. (HTDC) has a black and yellow shield housing the motif of a bow and arrow supporting the monogram of its acronym ‘HT’. The shield is crested by a yellow circle with a black outline holding an upward pointing arrow. This is surmounted by its name ‘Himachal Tourism’. The arrow refers to travel and movement. The emblem is functional and bold.

DR. SHAKUNTALA MISRA NATIONAL REHABILITATION UNIVERSITY The emblem used by the Dr. Shakuntala Misra National Rehabilitation University (DSMRU) is the same as the emblem of the State of Uttar Pradesh. The state emblem dates from the time of the United Provinces. It represents the confluence of the Ganges, Yamuna and Saraswati by wavy flowing waters between a pair of fish which is a Buddhist symbol signifying freedom from restraint and the life-giving properties of water and the two rivers. Between the arms of the pall there is a bow and arrow, the arms of the heroes of the Mahabharata. The emblem is similar to the ancient emblem of the last Nawabs of Awadh where fish occur in their motifs.

GOVIND GURU TRIBAL UNIVERSITY The emblem of Govind Guru Tribal University (GGTU) has a circular border on which the name of the university is inscribed in Devanagari and two swastikas supporting a ‘havan kund’ or sacred fire pit. This border is housing the motifs of a lighthouse on sea supported by a bow and arrow, its year of establishment and an open book. Below this circular seal, on a brown banner, its motto in Sanskrit ‘तेजस्विनावधीतमस्तु’ (Dialogue between Nachiketa and Yamacharya, 19, Canto 3, Part 3, Katha Upanishad, Krishna Yajur Veda) meaning ‘May our Study be Vigorous and Effective’ is inscribed. The bow represents self-improvement since it requires mastery to use; the arrow symbolises lightning, destiny and knowledge; the lighthouse symbolises hope and security; the open book symbolises learning, education, knowledge and wisdom and Swastika symbolises symbolises the sun, prosperity and good luck. BANKURA UNIVERSITY Bankura University (BU) was established by the West Bengal Act XIX of 2013 and the assent of the Governor was first published in the Kolkata Gazette, Extraordinary on January 6, 2014. The university is recognised under Section 2(f) & 12(B) of the UGC Act, 1956. The university is located in Bankura. The blue colour emblem of the university has a shield on which the motifs of motifs of a bow and arrow; palash flower 'Butea monosperma', a pair of terracotta horses, a pair of laurels and its name. It is surmounted by its name in Bengali. Its motto in Sanskrit ‘उत्तिष्ठत जाग्रत’ (Mantra 14, Valli 3, Chapter 1, Kathopanishad) meaning ‘Arise Awake’ is placed on a banner which below the shield. BIRSA MUNDA TRIBAL UNIVERSITY Birsa Munda Tribal University was established by Tribal Development Department, Government of Gujarat, Gandhinagar in April 2017 and was formally started in October 2017 at Narmada. The university's emblem features a bow and arrow with a pen nib as its tip and flower petals as its wings, supported by a flower, all enclosed in a circle. The circle is topped by eight pairs of green leaves and supported by a gear, with four parallel green circular lines completing the circle. The name and place of the university is written in Devanagari above the emblem. Its motto in Sanskrit, ‘गरीयासि पुन्यारण्य संस्कृतिः’, meaning ‘You are the Greatest Holy Forest Culture’, is placed at the bottom. U.P. YODDHA U.P. Yoddha is the kabaddi franchise in the Pro Kabaddi League, the kabaddi team is owned by GMR Group. The team captures the warrior spirit of Uttar Pradesh. The players are known as Yoddha, who are ready to give their blood, sweat and tears in the battlefield. The team made it to the playoffs in every season since its inception in 2017.
