JAWAHARLAL NEHRU PORT AUTHORITY The emblem of Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority (JNPA) is in the form of a globe. The shades of blue in the JNPA logo are inspired by the water bodies. The wavy strokes and lines refer to JNPA as the port that offers flexibility and ease in operations. The designs are in the shape of a globe which refers to the port’s service to international trade. The rotating arrows around it suggest trade mobilisation in imports and exports. The steer at the top signifies JNPA’s vision to be at the apex of trade in India and the white strokes at the horizon represent its International footprint. The waves at the bottom symbolise modern container handling port, facilitator of international trade and being highly efficient and productive.

FASTAG

FASTAG The emblem of FASTag, the passive tag RFID payment system for payment of tolls for National Highways, is created in the colours of the National Flag. The orange and green word mark has its name written in sans serif italics bold with the top horizontal stroke of ‘F’ extended as a n arrow to make a highway; the bottom horizontal stroke of ‘g’ forming the return highway and the dot above ‘i’ is depicted as waves. Below the word mark its tagline ‘Easy to Cruise’ is written in grey. The logo has dynamism and momentum and is also prominent and easy to recognise.

B.S. ABDUR RAHMAN CRESCENT INSTITUTE OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY  Since 1984, B.S. Abdur Rahman Crescent Institute of Science and Technology is located in Tambaram, Chennai. The red and blue circular logo has a crescent moon and a star within and on their left four stars are there on a blue background. Below this a wave of water is shown and the circle is completed by a red colour patch. The crescent moon and star symbol was first used by the Ottoman Empire in the late eighteenth century. The Ottomans, who were predominantly Muslim, used it on their flags and coats of arms. Since then, this symbol has become synonymous with the Islamic faith and culture. INDIAN INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT VISAKHAPATNAM Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam (IIMV) belongs to the prestigious IIM family of business schools.
