PADMASHREE DR. D.Y. PATIL VIDYAPEETH The emblem of Padmashree Dr. D.Y. Patil Vidyapeeth (PDPV) has a pictorial with a shield in brown colour holding its acronym in white and gold. This is supported by a golden swan with its wings spread. Above the swan, on a brown banner , the name of the trust is inscribed. Below the pictorial there is a brown colour monogram of its acronym supported by two gold colour swooshes on the letter ‘D’. The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the swan denotes grace, elegance, dynamism, education and knowledge. The colour brown symbolises earthiness, simplicity, stability, humility, warmth, reliability, endurance, timelessness and tradition and the colour gold denotes wealth, prosperity, power, prestige and achievement. 

MAGANBHAI ADENWALA MAHAGUJARAT UNIVERSITY The Maganbhai Adenwala Mahagujarat University (MAMU) has a circular seal held by a pair of hands in brown colour and is crested by a piece of ornament. The seal holds a golden globe of the world and is ensconced by a border, on which its name is inscribed. At the bottom of the seal an open book supports a glowing traditional lamp, below which its year of establishment is written. At the bottom on a brown and gold banner the motto of the university is inscribed in Sanskrit ‘विद्या वितर्कः विज्ञानम्’ meaning ‘Knowledge is Reasoning and Science’. The colour gold denotes wealth, prosperity, power, prestige and achievement; the colour brown denotes the earthiness, simplicity, stability, humility, warmth, reliability, endurance, timelessness and tradition; the globe symbolises education, knowledge, influence, timelessness, global unity and interconnectedness; the open book symbolises knowledge, wisdom, education and learning and the lamp symbo

INDIA INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF LEGAL EDUCATION AND RESEARCH The Bar Council of India Trust took the initiative to establish the India International University of Legal Education and Research in Goa (IIULER). It was established by the Bar Council of India Trust - Pearl First through a Statute of the Goa Legislature. The emblem of the university is a brown colour shield with thick golden borders holding the motifs of the globe and a map of India. The name of the university surmounts these motifs. The acronym of the university’s name is written on a golden banner below the shield. At the bottom the name of the promoters are written. The globe and the map of India symbolise the domain and scope of the university and its range of studies; the colour gold symbolises wealth, prosperity, power, prestige and achievement and the colour brown denotes earthiness, simplicity, stability, humility, warmth, reliability, endurance, timelessness and tradition.

DR. D. Y. PATIL VIDYAPEETH  Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth (DPU), Pune a Deemed to be University was established by the University Grants Commission (UGC), Government of India under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956 vide its notification dated January 11, 2003. DPU offers academic programmes in the fields of medicine, dentistry, nursing, physiotherapy, optometry, biotechnology, management, Ayurved, homoeopathy, design, allied health sciences, liberal arts and science and technology. SRI SRI UNIVERSITY Sri Sri University was established on December 26, 2009 and started functioning from 2012. The university was envisioned by Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. The Art of Living Programme is an integral part of the curriculum at the university. The circular seal of the university in brown colour houses a golden colour tree with trunks, branches and birds, which is ensconced by a white border. The top half of the border its name is inscribed and its motto in Sanskrit ‘सत्यं ज्ञानं अनन्थम् ब्रह्म’ meaning ‘True Knowledge is the Infinite Brahman’ is written in the bottom half. These two are separated by a pair of flying birds. The tree symbolises strength, individuality and expression, calmness, growth and the interconnectedness of everything; birds denote freedom of thought, imagination and greater vision; the colour brown signifies the earthiness, simplicity, stability, humility, warmth, reliability, endurance, timelessness and tradition and the colour gold symbolises
