NATIONAL DAIRY RESEARCH INSTITUTE  The National Dairy Research Institute (NDRI) is a national level institute for breeding technology, feeding technology, fodder demonstration, animal health care and animal management but dissemination of the technical know-how. In 1964 eastern regional station was set up at Kalyani in West Bengal. In 1970, NDRI was brought under the Indian Council of Agricultural Research. The institute achieved the status of Deemed University from 1989. The circular emblem of the institute has a gear wheel which houses the national emblem of India supported by a cow and milk bottle at the bottom and a pair of corn plants on its sides ensconced by a border which bears the name of the university in Devanagari and its acronym. Below this motif its acronym written in black and red is placed above blurting milk. AGRICULTURE UNIVERSITY, JODHPUR Agriculture University, Jodhpur (AUJ) was established on September 14, 2013 by the Government of Rajasthan under Agriculture University, Jodhpur Act 21 of 2013 to focus on holistic development of arid and semi arid regions of the state covering the districts of Jodhpur, Barmer, Nagaur, Pali, Jalore and Sirohi. The predominantly green circular emble of the university has a rising sun from the sand dunes supported by a pair of ears of corn. WIthin this it holds an open book, microscope, a tractor and a pair of gear wheels. The name of the university is written along the circular border in Devanagari and English. The year of its formation is written below the circle. Its motto in Sanskrit ‘कृषि वृत्ति अभीष्टपूर्णा’ meaning ‘Agricultural Endowment is Ideal’ is written on a golden banner at the bottom. YOGI VEMANA UNIVERSITY Named after a renowned philosopher- thinker, poet, sage and yogi, Vemana, Yogi Vemana University, established in the year 2006, by an Act of A.P state legislature is a blessing for the backward Rayalseema region. The emblem of the university has a globe on base, on which a student sits and studies on a background of sky with clouds and sun, representing the learning of universal knowledge and wisdom. This is supported on either side by a stalk of corn. These are ensconced in a circular blue border, which carries the name of the university and its motto in Telugu. At the bottom of the circle on a blue banner the name of the university is written in white. TRIPURA GRAMIN BANK Tripura Gramin Bank (TGB), with its sole objective to promote the socio-economic status of the downtrodden people of Tripura, came into existence on December 21, 1976 under the sponsorship of the United Bank of India. The emblem of the bank has a map of the State of Tripura holding a traditional house of the State on a green background ensconced in a light yellow border carrying its name in Bengali and its motto in Sanskrit ‘अन्नं बहु कुर्वित, तद् व्रतम्’ meaning ‘Vow to Produce Food in Plenty’, separated by a pair of crowns on each side. These are further placed inside a green wheel of gear with sixteen teeth. Crowns of corn denote abundance, fertility, unity, community, cycle of life, renewal, nourishment and sustenance.The colour green denotes hope, freedom, agriculture, nature and fertility and yellow denotes happiness, energy, vitality, focus and creativity. Overall, the logo aptly represents the bank, the land and its brand.

COMMUNIST PARTY OF INDIA  On December 26, 1925, a few ardent young patriots moved by the urge to free the motherland from colonial bondage, inspired by the Great October Socialist Revolution and fired with revolutionary zeal, braved imperialist persecution and came together in the city of Kanpur, to form the Communist Party of India with a view to fight for national independence and a future of socialism. The Party has fraternal relations with Communist and workers’ parties, progressive and democratic movements in all countries. The party’s election symbol is ears of corn and sickle, which represent agriculture and industry. This is inspired from the symbols of communist parties from around the world, specifically from the erstwhile USSR.
