VIKRANT UNIVERSITY The Vikrant University in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh is incorporated with the sole object of setting new standards in higher education, research and innovation. The logo of the university has a blue shield bearing the motifs of rising sun, an open book with V & U written on a torch in white colour. Its name and place is written on its right in sans serif bold and light font. The sun is a symbol of life, warmth, growth and energy; an open book denotes knowledge and wisdom and the mortarboard meant for graduates meaning the graduation of students in their chosen subjects and the torch denotes light, path for growth and way forward; gear wheel is the symbol of industrialisation and progress. The colour blue represents calmness, serenity, trust, loyalty, wisdom, intelligence, spirituality, stability and security which goes well with the brand of the university which it has cultivated over decades
