VIDHYADEEP UNIVERSITY The blue and cyan emblem of Vidhyadeep University (VU) has a facade of an entrance with three pillars holding a mortarboard hat, supporting a set of five stars ensconced by a cyan circular border. These are supported by an open book symbolising knowledge, wisdom, education and learning. The name of the university is written at the bottom using sans serif font. The three pillars of the facade symbolise the bridge to heaven from earth and pillar means strength, security of foundation and trustworthiness; the mortarboard hat or oxford hat educational achievement, equality, tradition and rights of passage symbolises and the set of five stars denote perfect harmony among all things in life, with its points providing insight into how we can strive towards achieving this goal. The pillars end as an inverted pencil, which symbolises freedom, intelligence, creativity, professionalism, determination and diligence.

VIDYASAGAR UNIVERSITY Vidyasagar University, named after one of the most illustrious sons of Bengal as well as one of the doyens of Indian Renaissance, Pandit Iswar Chandra Vidyasagar. The Government of West Bengal decided in 1978 to establish Vidyasagar University. The circular emblem of the university in blue colour has four conjoint tridents placed within a circle supported by an eight petalled lotus is placed in the centre of a circular border, which carries the name of the university and its motto in Bengali ‘শিক্ষা জ্ঞান প্রগতি’ meaning ‘Education Knowledge Progress’. The conjoint trishul or trident denotes power, balance, spiritual awakening, protection, divine trinity and Lord Shiva’s attributes and the lotus denotes purity, enlightenment, rebirth, transformation, personal growth, resilience, overcoming obstacles and divine beauty. The colour blue represents serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty.

VIDYASHILP UNIVERSITY Vidyashilp University (VU), Bengaluru is a private institution launched by Vidyashilp Education Group in the year 2021. The logo of the university is a pictorial depiction of the letter ‘V’ presented as a flying bird with red wings and blue beak. Its name is written in blue sans serif font in bold and normal at its right. The flying bird denotes freedom, independence, transformation, renewal, hope, optimism and communication. The colour red signifies passion, power, strength, courage, determination, energy and celebration and the colour blue signifies serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty. Overall, the logo is simple, direct and easily recognisable.

VISHWAKARMA UNIVERSITY Vishwakarma University, Pune (VU) is an offshoot of the Vishwakarma Group of Institutions’ educational legacy spanning more than thirty five years. The university has been established as a State Private University through Maharashtra Government Act in the year 2017. The logo of the university is a monogram of its acronym ‘VU’ written using an extra bold serif font which has extreme variation between thick and thin strokes and hairline serifs, on an orange square. The font gives emphasis to the crisp and clear attitude and focus of the university in its endeavours. The colour orange is associated with enthusiasm, energy and vitality. It can evoke feelings of excitement, optimism and a zest for life. This vibrant colour is known to stimulate creativity and encourage social interaction. The logo appropriately builds upon the established values of the university.
