INDIAN INSTITUTE OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY PUNE Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Pune is an institute of national importance established by the Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India and Industry partners on a Not-for-profit Public Private Partnership (N-PPP) basis. Its emblem in the form of a medieval shield has been divided into five parts with the centre having its acronym depicted as three persons sitting in front in a class facing a board or computer supported by two pairs of stars and other parts have a book, a satellite, an atomic structure and a computer emitting binary. The shield has red and grey borders and its name is written in a circular form around the shield. Its motto ‘Leading Technology Leveraging Technology’ is written on a blue banner at the bottom.
