DRAVIDIAN UNIVERSITY The Dravidian family of languages, which includes more than twenty seven tongues, is the most ancient living language family of the world. The Government of Andhra Pradesh established the Dravidian University in 1997 at the tri-lingual junction, Kuppam in Chittoor District through a Legislature Act of Andhra Pradesh and conceived as an interstate institution. The emblem of the university is designed to indicate its main objectives and ideals. The open book symbolises knowledge accessible to all. The popular maxim ‘Knowledge is Power’ found at the top of the open book indicates supreme place given to knowledge. Lotus is a symbol of the seat of learning and prosperity and the blossomed lotus symbolises various facets of knowledge. SARDAR PATEL UNIVERSITY OF POLICE, SECURITY AND CRIMINAL JUSTICE  Sardar Patel University of Police, Security and Criminal Justice (SPUPSCJ), Jodhpur was established by an ordinance of the Government of Rajasthan on August 27, 2012. The circular emblem of the university has a shield painted with abstract strokes of national tricolours with a white, orange and green star. The shield is crested by its acronym ‘SPUP’ and supported by its motto ‘Knowledge is Power’. These are ensconced by a white circular border with blue outer lines. This border carries the name of the university and its year of establishment. The shield symbolises protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery and the star symbolises perfect harmony among all things in life, with its points providing insight into how we can strive towards achieving this goal. The star also means mutual recognition of wellbeing and to recognize good deeds and charity.

MEENAKSHI ACADEMY OF HIGHER EDUCATION AND RESEARCH The Meenakshi Academy of Higher Education and Research (MAHER) is a Deemed to be University incorporating a consortium of institutions in Chennai and Kanchipuram. Under the aegis of MAHER, there are three constituent units at Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu - the Meenakshi Medical College Hospital and Research Institute (MMCHRI), Arulmigu Meenakshi College of Nursing (AMCON) and Faculty of Allied Health Sciences (FAHS); one unit at Maduravoyal, Chennai- Meenakshi Ammal Dental College and Hospital (MADCH) and Meenakshi College of Nursing (MCON) at Mangadu, Chennai providing education in the field of healthcare. SADHU RAM CHAND MURMU UNIVERSITY OF JHARGRAM Sadhu Ram Chand Murmu University of Jhargram (erstwhile Jhargram University) was established in 2018 as Jhargram University. In 2021, the university was renamed as Sadhu Ram Chand Murmu University of Jhargram (SRCMUJ). The Centre for Adivasi Studies and Museum, an integrated part of SRCMUJ, was also set up as a specialised centre for higher studies on tribal life and culture as well as for the protection, preservation and display of cultural heritage of the people of the Jungle Mahal Region. The emblem of the university in blue colour has Gadrasini hill, sal forest and Kangsabati river supported by its motto ‘Knowledge is Power’ and an axe, which is the predominant tool of daily use in Jhargram. All these are ensconced in a white border with inner and outer border lines carrying the name of the university and its year of establishment.

SINGHANIA UNIVERSITY Singhania University was established under the Ordinance 6 of 2007 of Government of Rajasthan by D. C. Singhania. The university was inaugurated on October 21, 2007 by its founder. The circular blue colour logo of the university has a flying pigeon placed atop the year of establishment ‘2007’ ensconced by a blue border which carries the name of the university and its motto ‘Knowledge is Power’. The flying pigeon signifies fertility and prosperity, fortune, luck and transformation. The bird also symbolises persistence, harmony, wellbeing, mercy, forgiveness and freedom. The colour blue symbolises serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty.

KONGUNADU COLLEGE OF NURSING Kongunadu College of Nursing (KCN)was founded by Dr.P.Raju and is run by Kongunattu Arakattalai. The college is located near Coimbatore city on Thondamuthur Main Road. The emblem of the college has the motifs of a traditional lamp supported by a red cross at the bottom and a pair of blue lions on the sides. These are placed above the acronym of its name. All theses are ensconced in a yellow circular border which bears the name and place of the college. Below this on a border its motto 'Knowledge is Power’ is written. The traditional lamp symbolises light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity and laurels signify victory, accomplishment, honour, recognition, immortality, peace and harmony. A pair of lions signifies courage, confidence and pride and the red cross symbolises a symbol of protection and a sign that help is at hand.

SEMBODAI R.V. POLYTECHNIC COLLEGE Rukmani Ammal Educational Trust was established in the year 1994 at Sembodai in Nagapattinam District by Dr. R. Varatharajan to cater to the needs of the poor and downtrodden for providing better education. Sembodai R.V. Polytechnic College (SRVPC) was founded by him in 1997. The emblem of the polytechnic in green colour has a flask ensconced in a gear wheel and topped by an electrical transmission tower. All these are circumscribed by a green border which bears its name and place. At the bottom of htis its motto ‘Knowledge is Power’ is written. All the motifs represent the branches of engineering taught in this polytechnic.

VELS INSTITUTE OF SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY AND ADVANCED STUDIES Vels Institute of Science, Technology and Advanced Studies (VISTAS) is an institute of higher education located in Pallavaram, Chennai, Tamilnadu, India. It was established in 1992 and granted Deemed University status in 2008. Its emblem in cyan and blue has a shield with its name written on the top and motifs of a computer, an open book, a cross with a fisted hand and a satellite antenna below that. The shield is supported by a banner written on, with its motto ‘Knowledge is Power’ Shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; computer signifies being part of the information revolution; an open book denotes knowledge and wisdom; a cross denotes sacrifice and suffering and a fisted had within it denotes strength, power, unity, solidarity and rights achieved through sacrifice and a satellite denotes universal connectedness and brotherhood.
