With an approximate area of 2,36,286 square kilometre and a population of over sixteen crores, Uttar Pradesh (UP) has the distinction of being the largest single police force not only in the country but of the entire world. The Director General of UP Police commands a force of about 1,70,000 personnel spread over 72 districts, 33 armed battalions and other specialised wings and branches covering to Intelligence, Investigation, Anti-corruption, Technical, Training, Forensic Science etc. The emblem of the Uttar Pradesh Police shows the twin fishes - Matsya from the state emblem surrounded by a garland and crested with the emblem of India. RAJMATA VIJAYARAJE SCINDIA KRISHI VISHWA VIDYALAYA The Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Gwalior was established by Government of Madhya Pradesh on August 19, 2008 by bifurcating the JNKVV, Jabalpur. The green toned circular emblem of the university has a motif of a farmer tilling the soil using cattle and plough placed over an open book signifying the knowledge, wisdom and education of agriculture. Below this its motto in Sanskrit ‘कृषि मूलम् जगत् सर्वम्’ meaning ‘Agriculture is the Root of the World’ is written. All these are ensconced in two circular borders, of which one carries its name and place in English and the outer one carries its name and place in Devanagari supported by a pair of wheat ears. The ears of wheat signifies prosperity, food, wealth and nourishment and the colour green signifies agriculture, nature, growth, balance, harmony, environment, prosperity, vitality, prestige, wealth and being very down to earth.

The vignetted blue to cyan colour circular logo has a partial structure of atom on top and its acronyms in Devanagari and English.
