BAHRA UNIVERSITY

BAHRA UNIVERSITY The circular green and brown emblem of Bahra University (BU) has its monogram placed inside a green circle with a greenish brown border on which the name and place of the university is inscribed. The colour green symbolises agriculture, nature, growth, balance, harmony, environment, prosperity, vitality, prestige, wealth and being very down to earth and the colour greenish brown denotes rebirth, growth and peace.

MUNGER UNIVERSITY

MUNGER UNIVERSITY Munger University is a State University in India that was established in 2018. It is located in Munger. The university's insignia features the letter ‘M’ as a brown parapet wall with crenellations, representing the Munger Fort and a pair of peacocks. This forms the basis of a green tree of learning. The name of the university is written in English on the right and in Devanagari on the left. The colour brown symbolises earthiness, simplicity, stability, humility, warmth, reliability, endurance, timelessness and tradition. The colour green represents agriculture, nature, growth, balance, harmony, environment, prosperity, vitality, prestige, wealth and being very down-to-earth. The tree denotes strength, individuality and expression, calmness, growth and the interconnectedness of everything. The peafowls are symbolic of rejuvenation, re-growth, integrity, respect, royalty and honour. They also symbolise passion, love and beauty.

SANCHI UNIVERSITY OF BUDDHIST-INDIC STUDIES

SANCHI UNIVERSITY OF BUDDHIST-INDIC STUDIES On September 21, 2012 the then President of Sri Lanka Mahindra Rajapaksa laid the foundation stone of the Sanchi University of Buddhist-Indic Studies (SUBIS) together with the former Prime Minister of Bhutan Jigme Yoser Thinley on a hillock near Sanchi. The crest of the university in earthy colours of brown and green has a Bodhi or peepal tree with Gautama Buddha sitting beneath covered by a historical arch with a crest. At the bottom of the emblem the motto of the university in Sanskrit ‘एष धर्मः सनातनः’(Subhashitani Slokas 7) ‘The Eternal Truth’ is written. The Bodhi or peepal tree is a powerful symbol in Buddhism as it represents a human being's capacity to attain enlightenment and find the joy and peace of Nirvana. The arch represents the stupas of Sanchi which is one of the important Buddhist and heritage sites. SILVER OAK UNIVERSITY

SILVER OAK UNIVERSITY The Silver Oak University (SOU) was established in 2009 by the Silver Oak Group of Institutes. It has been accorded the status of Private University under Gujarat Private Universities Act, 2009. Its universal human values are reflected in its motto in Sanskrit ‘ज्ञानं परमम् भूषणम् ’ meaning ‘Knowledge is the Supreme Ornament’ and ‘Education to Innovation’. Its green and brown emblem has a tree created by curved design strokes supporting an open book and ensconced by an arc bearing its name. These are supported by a brown banner which bears its motto in Sanskrit.  At its right the name of the university is written sung classic serif bold fone and below that another motto is written.

UNIVERSITY OF HORTICULTURAL SCIENCES BAGALKOT

UNIVERSITY OF HORTICULTURAL SCIENCES BAGALKOT University of Horticultural Sciences (UHS) at Bagalkot was established through a special Ordinance No 2 of 2008 dated November 22, 2008. The emblem of the university has a green circular border bearing its name in Kannada and English separated flowers ensconces a map of the State of Karnataka and crested by a shining object from which fruits, flowers, nuts, greens, microscope, vegetables, emanate and these are supported by a traditional lamp. Below the circle is a brown colour banner bearing its motto in Kannada ‘ಫಲಪ್ರಷ್ಟ ತಾಂಬೂಲಗಳು ಸಮೃದ್ಧಿಯಾಗಲಿ’ meaning 'May Fruitful Tambulas Abound’ is placed. The motifs represent the produce and services the university caters to and the lamp denotes light, path for growth and way forward. The colours green and Brown are the colours of the land, agriculture and nature.

SARVA HARYANA GRAMIN BANK

SARVA HARYANA GRAMIN BANK Sarva Haryana Gramin Bank (SHGB), Haryana’s Apna Bank (हरियाणा का अपना बैंक) came to existence on November 29, 2013 under RRB Act 1976, out of amalgamation of Haryana Gramin Bank (Sponsored by PNB) and Gurgaon Gramin Bank (Sponsored by Syndicate Bank), through gazette notification No. S.O. 3536(E), dated November 29, 2013 by the Government of India and became the sole Regional Rural Bank of the State with Headquarter at Rohtak. The emblem of the bank has a monogram of its acronym placed inside a green gear wheel supported on either side by a crown of wheat, which are ensconced in a brown sprocket wheel. Its tagline ‘सर्व सम्मान… सर्व उत्थान…’ meaning ‘All Honour… All Exaltation’  is written in Devanagari at the bottom of the emblem. The green wheel of gear represents agriculture, agricultural produce and agricultural industry. The wheat crowns denote the main agricultural produce of the State and the brown sprocket wheel is the symbol of the farm
