BENGALURU INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL The emblem of Bengaluru International Film Festival (BIFFES) is the mythical twin headed bird of ‘Gandaberunda’ in earthy red with golden wings and decorative ornaments. The name of the film festival is written in Kannada and English on the right in red and black. The mythical bird is adapted from the erstwhile kingdom of Mysore and it is coloured red and gold with ornaments to celebrate, entertain and the star studded glitter of the event. The logo is interesting, attractive and inviting, while espousing that it is from the State of Karnataka.

MALWANCHAL UNIVERSITY The emblem of Malwanchal University (MU) has a blue circle holding a gold and brown shield housing the motifs of sun, globe, a pair of lions and a pair of leaves along with its name. The shield is supported by a pair of laurels on sides and by a red banner at the bottom carrying its motto ‘Committed to Excellence’, within a gold circular line. The blue circle is ensconced by a golden ornamental border. MAULANA AZAD NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY BHOPAL Maulana Azad College of Technology (MACT) started functioning in 1960 at Government S.V. Polytechnic with an intake of 120 students and seven faculty members. The Institute is named after the renowned educationist and scholar, Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, former Union Education Minister of India. Its emblem in yellow, blue and red colours has three eccentric circles all touching at the bottom has the Great Stupa of Sanchi with its entrance as motif. This is surrounded by a gear wheel and its name in English. All these are ensconced by another circle with its name in Hindi supported by a pair of laurels. Its motto ‘विद्या परं भूषणम्’ meaning ‘Knowledge is the Supreme Ornament’ is written on the the pedestal holding all these.
