JAWAHARLAL NEHRU PORT AUTHORITY The emblem of Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority (JNPA) is in the form of a globe. The shades of blue in the JNPA logo are inspired by the water bodies. The wavy strokes and lines refer to JNPA as the port that offers flexibility and ease in operations. The designs are in the shape of a globe which refers to the port’s service to international trade. The rotating arrows around it suggest trade mobilisation in imports and exports. The steer at the top signifies JNPA’s vision to be at the apex of trade in India and the white strokes at the horizon represent its International footprint. The waves at the bottom symbolise modern container handling port, facilitator of international trade and being highly efficient and productive.

MORMUGAO PORT AUTHORITY The emblem of Mormugao Port Authority (MPA) has the motifs of an anchor, a lighthouse, a ship and a pair of arrows depicting repetition placed on an elliptical globe of the world. Below the ship, its acronym is written in bold red typeface and its name written in Devanagari below that. The motifs refer to port, shipping, loading and unloading and servicing the globe. The colour blue symbolises serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty; the colour red symbolises passion, power, strength, courage, determination, energy and celebration and the colour cyan denotes sky, hope and spring, peace, tranquillity, calmness, relaxation and emotional balance.

MILAN 2024 The circular seal for the Milan 2024, the multinational naval exercise organised by Indian Navy, has a globe with Ashoka Chakra placed above the map of India, a lighthouse with beacon, a warship with guns and wavy waters of the sea written with ‘Visakhapatnam, India’. These are ensconced by a circular tricolour border referring to India and a blue border, which carries the name of the event, its tagline ‘Camaraderie Cohesion Collaboration’ and a pair of anchors. The emblems circumscribed a rope similar to the one used in seafaring and ships. The globe denotes the reach and scope of the exercises; the naval ship refers to the navies of the participating countries; the blue waters refer to the seas and oceans; the beacon denotes the guiding light and the anchors refer to the navies. 

SINGAPORE INDIAN CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY The circular emblem of Singapore Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SICCI) is a blue globe with longitudinal and latitudinal lines with a pair of thick red arrows facing each other placed on it. The globe refers to the nature and scope of commerce and trade and the red arrows refers to the reach and access and the willingness to go dynamically. Below the pictorial, its name and years of establishment of the Chamber are written.

KERALA STATE POLLUTION CONTROL BOARD The circular blue colour emblem of Kerala State Pollution Control Board (KSPCB) has a globe referring to earth with layers of atmosphere, water and the soil with ‘Kerala’ written in between. The colour blue symbolises all the elements of nature, serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty. 

TAMILNADU POLLUTION CONTROL BOARD The circular blue colour emblem of Tamilnadu Pollution Control Board (TNPCB) has a globe referring to earth with layers of atmosphere, water and the soil with ‘தமிழ்நாடு’ is written in between. The colour blue symbolises all the elements of nature,serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty. 

KARNATAKA STATE POLLUTION CONTROL BOARD The circular cyan colour emblem of Karnataka State Pollution Control Board (KSPCB) has a globe referring to earth with layers of atmosphere, water and the soil with 'ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ’ and ‘Karnataka’ written in between. The colour cyan symbolises all the elements of nature, sky, hope and spring, peace, tranquillity, calmness, relaxation, emotional balance.

CRAFT REVIVAL TRUST The reddish brown pictorial emblem of Craft Revival Trust (CRT) has a tree bearing  veena, a lotus, a globe, a pen, a star, a computer, an open book, an eye and a glowing sun. All these motifs refer to the preservation, nourishment, innovation, globalisation and promotion of arts and crafts. Below the pictorial, the name of the Trust is written. The reddish brown colour signifies the earthiness, simplicity, stability, humility, warmth, reliability, endurance, timelessness and tradition.

BHASKARACHARYA NATIONAL INSTITUTE FOR SPACE APPLICATIONS AND GEO-INFORMATICS The cyan and magenta emblem of Bhaskaracharya National Institute for Space Applications and Geo-informatics (BISAG-N) has its acronym written as wordmark in sans serif bold typeface in dual colours representing sky and earth. The ‘I’ has a globe representing earth in magenta with a satellite revolving around it. This is a bright and bold logo with the colour cyan denoting sky, hope and spring, peace, tranquillity, calmness, relaxation and emotional balance and magenta denoting compassion, kindness and cooperation.

ICAR- INDIAN INSTITUTE OF OIL PALM RESEARCH The pictorial emblem of ICAR- Indian Institute of Oil Palm Research (IIOPR) has a globe in blue colour holding the motifs of an oil palm tree above the map of India. The globe is crested by a drop of oil and the name of the Institute is written at the bottom of the globe. The globe denotes education, knowledge, influence, timelessness, global unity and interconnectedness.

ICAR-NATIONAL ACADEMY OF AGRICULTURAL RESEARCH AND MANAGEMENT The green, cyan and red pictorial emblem of ICAR-National Academy of Agricultural Research  and Management (NAARM) has a pair of green leaves supporting a red head of a human atop a revolving cyan globe. The pictorial represents the research and management of agriculture in an attractive manner. Below the globe, the acronym of the institution is written in Devanagari and English.

MALWANCHAL UNIVERSITY The emblem of Malwanchal University (MU) has a blue circle holding a gold and brown shield housing the motifs of sun, globe, a pair of lions and a pair of leaves along with its name. The shield is supported by a pair of laurels on sides and by a red banner at the bottom carrying its motto ‘Committed to Excellence’, within a gold circular line. The blue circle is ensconced by a golden ornamental border. DAVANGERE UNIVERSITY The emblem of Davangere University (DU) is designed on the theme to save the planet earth with the theme of  ‘inclusion and sustainability through education’. The outline of faces in the logo depicts the youth power moving ahead with a mission of development for humanity. The laurels on either side of the globe signify the sustainable approach to protect the environment and earth. The book symbolises the knowledge which is open to everyone to achieve the end. The motto in Sanskrit ‘तमसो मा  ज्योतिर्गमय’ (Yajnavalkya, 1.3.28, Pavamana Mantra, Brihadaranyaka Upanishad) meaning ‘From Darkness Lead me to Light’ is inscribed on a banner placed below the globe. The colour scheme of the logo relates to the atmosphere, colour brown is for mother earth, orange for learning, green for life and environment and colour yellow for expansion.

LALA LAJPAT RAI UNIVERSITY OF VETERINARY AND ANIMAL SCIENCES The emblem of Lala Lajpat Rai University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (LUVAS) has a brown circular border carrying the name and place of the university and houses the motifs of letter ‘V’ in blue and bold, the Staff of Hermes entwined with a serpent supported by a globe of earth in the background and surmounted by its name in Devanagari. Below the circular seal, on a white banner with black outlines its motto in Sanskrit ‘राष्ट्रीन्नयजं पशुवर्थनम्’ meaning ‘Nation for Animals’ is inscribed.

GURUGRAM UNIVERSITY The emblem of Gurugram University (GU) has a yellow shield supported by a pair of laurels, crested by a flame and by a red banner below. The shield houses the motifs of rising sun, a pair of twigs,an open book, a globe, a human brain, a banyan tree, robot, WiFi symbol, picture of persons holding a trophy, its name and place and a bow and arrow. On the banner its motto in Sanskrit ‘बिद्या जीवनाये न तु जीविकाय’ meaning ‘Knowledge is for Life and Not for Livelihood’ is written. The lamp and the flame represent human energy; the rising sun denotes enlightenment; the twigs denote medicines; the book denotes new world; the globe represents global collaboration; the brain represents the brainstorming for creativity; the banyan or Bodhi tree is the symbol of Sansara (World) and Dharma; the robot and WiFi denote technological advancement; the trophy and persons denote team effort for success and the bow and arrow denote the historical heritage.

K.R. MANGALAM UNIVERSITY The blue and red emblem of K.R. Mangalam University (KRMU) has a blue shield hosting a torch placed on a globe, supported by a pair of humans and a mortarboard hat. These are surmounted by a semicircular blue banner, which bears its name and supported by a white banner with red outlines bearing its motto ‘Destination Success’. This emblem epitomises the pursuit of success by enlightening the spirit of youth and empowering them with global values and beliefs. The flame signifies an eternal desire for knowledge acquisition and the torch is a symbol of leadership. The human elements holding the torch reflect a value system that respects humanity. PDM UNIVERSITY The blue colour emblem of PDM University (PDMU) is its name written in lowercase letters with the letter ‘d’ treated as a globe with flame. It symbolises its motto ‘Florentissimae Sub Gloriam Dei’ meaning ‘Flourishing Under the Glory of God’. The globe denotes education, knowledge, influence, timelessness, global unity and interconnectedness; the flame is an emblem of enlightenment, hope, life, truth and the regenerative power and the colour blue symbolises serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty.

ETERNAL UNIVERSITY The orange and blue emblem of Eternal University (EU) has a globe in the tones of orange with a dove with a branch of olive flying above. The name of the university is written in black and red. Its motto ‘In Pursuit of Permanent Peace and Spiritual Brotherhood’ is written along the circumference of the globe. The dove with a branch of olive symbolises peace, innocence and purity; the globe symbolises education, knowledge, influence, timelessness, global unity and interconnectedness and the colour orange denotes energy, vitality, creativity, inspiration, joy and happiness.

DRS. KIRAN & PALLAVI PATEL GLOBAL UNIVERSITY The emblem of Drs. Kiran & Pallavi Patel Global University (KPGU) has a seal and a multi coloured monogram of its name. The seal has a twelve pointed rotating sun supported by a shield holding the images of a globe of the world and a mortarboard hat. A pair of peacocks adore the shield on its sides. On a banner placed at the bottom of the shield, its acronym is written. The name of the university circumscribes the motifs.
