PADMAKARMA YOGASHALA The insignia of Padmakarma Yogashala has a pictorial of  a six petal light pink lotus with a person in yoga posture with a halo around the head. It is surmounted by its tagline in ‘Lokah Samastha Sukhino Bhavanthu’ and supported by its Sanskrit original ‘लोकाः समस्ताः सुखिनो भवन्तु’. At the bottom its name is written in black. The lotus refers to purity, enlightenment, rebirth, transformation, personal growth, resilience, overcoming obstacles and divine beauty; the colour pink denotes love, nurture and compassion.

MAHATMA JYOTI RAO PHULE UNIVERSITY The square greenish blue or teal coloured emblem of Mahatma Jyoti Rao Phule University (MJRPU) has a motif of exalting human standing atop the steps created by three books with halo and rays of achievement behind. The symbol states that the aspirant has achieved greatness through education. The colour teal symbolises decency and renovation.

AWADHESH PRATAP SINGH UNIVERSITY

AWADHESH PRATAP SINGH UNIVERSITY Awadhesh Pratap Singh University (APSU) was established on July 20, 1968 as a State university of Madhya Pradesh. The university has been named after the freedom fighter Capt. Awadhesh Pratap Singh, the first Prime Minister of Vindhya Pradesh. It was recognized by the UGC in February 1972. The emblem of the university has a traditional lamp with a halo and with rays glowing  supported by an open book placed on a small table bearing its Sanskrit motto ‘तेजस्विनावधीतमस्तु’ (Ved Vyasa, Kata Upanishad) meaning ‘May the Study of Both of us be Brilliant’. These are ensconced by a yellow border which has the name and place of the university inscribed in Devanagari. The traditional lamp symbolises light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity and the open book symbolises education, knowledge and wisdom.  

VIKRAM UNIVERSITY

VIKRAM UNIVERSITY Vikram University was established in Ujjain on March 1, 1957. Shri Ranchod Lalji Dhabai donated the land for it from Barnagar. The brown colour emblem of the university has a pair of outward facing lions from the Ashoka Pillar holding a lotus on water, which supports an open book, above which the tower of the Mahakal temple of Ujjain with a light wheel and halo behind and crested by its name and place are plced. At the base of the emblem, its year of establishment is inscribed. These are ensconced by an arching border similar to arches of the Sarnath. At the bottom, a banner carrying its motto in Sanskrit which is an extract from the Kathopanishad ‘विद्ययाऽमृतमश्नुते’, (Shloka 11, Ishopanishad) meaning ‘Immortality is Gained from Learning’ is placed. SIDDHARTH UNIVERSITY

SIDDHARTH UNIVERSITY Situated in the abode of lord Buddha, Siddharth University was established as a State University, in June 2015, at Kapilvastu, Siddharth Nagar, Uttar Pradesh, India. The emblem of the university has a meditating Buddha seated on a lotus with a halo around his head representing meditative wisdom, knowledge, spirituality and enlightenment. It is ensconced in a yellow circular border on which the name of the university and the place is written in Devanagari and English. These are standing on a pink lotus, which symbolises purity, knowledge, aesthetics and learning. The emblem is topped by a red banner on which its motto Sanskrit ‘अत्तदीपो भव’ meaning ‘Enlighten Inner Light’ is written.
