SANKALCHAND PATEL UNIVERSITY Nootan Sarva Vidyalaya Kelavani Mandal (NSVKM) was established by Shri. Sankalchand Patel in 1952. It established the Sankalchand Patel University on May 9, 2016. The emblem of the university has a pictorial and a word mark. The pictorial has three swooshes of orange, fresh green and dark blue forming a flower-like shape and at its bottom has a orange circle ensconced by a running design of ten persons standing together. Alongside a portion of an open book is shown. At the right of the pictorial the name of the university is written in blue and orange. Its motto in Sanskrit ‘अथातो ज्ञानजिज्ञासा’ meaning ‘That is, the Curiosity for Knowledge’ is written at the bottom. The open book symbolises knowledge and wisdom; people standing together symbolises teamwork and collective wisdom and the three swooshes represent freedom, creativity and innovation.
