NORTH EAST ADVENTIST UNIVERSITY The North East Adventist University (NEAU) was established by METAS on a 90 acre land of Jowai of Meghalaya, in 2019 under the Meghalaya Act No.4, No. LL(B).23/2015/280. Pr. O.W. Lange, an American Missionary, established the Assam Training School in 1941 at the present location. In 1972, the name was changed to Adventist Training School (ATS). It was upgraded to a higher secondary school in 1997. The insignia of the university is a grey and blue shield with an open book, a tiara, a torch and a motif of three people. The shield is supported by a pair of laurels and surmounted by its motto ‘Education for Eternity’. The emblem of the institute in blue and grey has its acronym written is bold lowercase sans serif font with less x-height with a globe above the three ‘i’s to look like a human and below that its motto in Sanskrit ‘ज्ञानमुत्तमम्’(Verse 1, Chapter 14, Bhagavad Gita) meaning ‘Supreme Knowledge' in grey. The globe signifies education, knowledge, influence, timelessness, global unity and interconnectedness; the colour blue symbolises serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty and the colour grey symbolises strength, longevity, unemotional, detached, balanced and impartial, power, influence, wisdom and intelligence.

SWAMI VIVEKANANDA SUBHARTI UNIVERSITY Swami Vivekananda Subharti University (SVSU) was established by Mahayana Theravada Buddhist Religious and Charitable Trust, Meerut in September 2008. The dark blue circular emblem of the university has a globe supported by an open book and held by a pair of hands on a blue circle surrounded by a circular border bearing its name and year of establishment. This is surrounded by a pair of laurels. At the bottom, on a blue banner its motto in Sanskrit ‘उतिष्ठत जाग्रत् प्राप्य वरान्निबोधत’ meaning ‘Get up Wake up and Listen to the Boons’ is written. COMMON SERVICES CENTRES To deliver a plethora of digital services (eServices) to the citizens including the e-Governance services within the reach of the citizen, the internet enabled access points Common Services Centres (CSCs) were set up. The primary objective of the CSC was to avoid interactions of citizens with Government offices bringing transparency and efficiency in the delivery of ICT services. The CSCs aims to provide individual access to the internet to citizens in rural India where the services based on the internet is very low. The CSC Scheme was initially launched in September, 2006 under National e-Governance Plan (NeGP), with an aim to cover all six lakh census villages by one lakh CSCs, as per 1:6 ratio equitably spread across rural India. The CSC logo is a word mark logo which has been designed keeping in mind the aim to reduce /eliminate the digital divide.

GENERAL INSURANCE COUNCIL The General Insurance Council has been constituted under section 64C of the Insurance Act, 1938 since 2001 by the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI). The General Insurance Council is an important link between the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India and the non-Life insurance industry. As per Section 64C of the Insurance Act, 1938 (and amended in January 2015) all general insurers, health insurers and reinsurers granted registration and licence by IRDAI to carry out business in India are members of the General Insurance Council. After the passage of the Insurance Laws (Amendment) Act in April 2015, GI Council is a Self Regulatory Organization for the non-life insurance industry’s market conduct and practices.
