LAND PORTS AUTHORITY OF INDIA The circular emblem of the Land Ports Authority of India (LPAI) has two circles in saffron and green representing the Indian flag. They also signifies infinity and mobility, which denotes all year round service provided by LPAI. The star on top symbolises power and authority. The National Emblem in gold colour in the logo represents the Government of India. It depicts the authority of LPAI for providing better administration and cohesive management of cross-border movement of goods and passengers. The circle denotes the Sanskrit phrase ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’ which means ‘The World is One Family’ and signifies infinity and mobility all year round. The Star on top refers to power and authority.

ICAR-NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF SECONDARY AGRICULTURE The emblem of ICAR-National Institute of Secondary Agriculture (NISA) has a gear wheel with thick black outline housing the motifs of a pod, trifoliate stem, flower, stem with pollens, and two supporting hands and its name in Devanagari and English with its year of inception. The motifs represent the secondary agricultural produces like gum, resins and aqua produces and the gear wheel represents the processing and converting into usable products for consumption.

MAHARASHTRA NATIONAL LAW UNIVERSITY, AURANGABAD The tricolour emblem of Maharashtra National Law University, Aurangabad (MNLUA) has the picture of Kailash Temple pillar from Ellora caves located in Aurangabad supported by the swooshes of tricolour within a circle. This is ensconced by a blue and tricolour decorative borders in which its name and place are inscribed. Its motto in Sanskrit ‘यतो धर्मस्ततो जयः’ ( Mahabharata ) meaning ‘Where There is Dharma, There will Be Victory’ is inscribed below the seal.

THE RAJIV GANDHI NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF LAW The Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law (RGNUL), Punjab, was established by the State Legislature of Punjab by passing the Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Punjab Act, 2006 (Punjab Act No. 12 of 2006). The Act incorporated a university of law of national stature in Punjab, to fulfil the need for a centre of excellence in legal education. RGNUL started functioning from its Headquarters in Mohindra Kothi, The Mall, Patiala from May 26, 2006. The university acquired approval of the Bar Council of India (BCI) in July 2006 and got registered with the University Grants Commission (UGC), New Delhi under Section 2(f) of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956. RGNUL operated from heritage buildings of the erstwhile Patiala State, Mohindra Kothi from 2006 to 2013. INDIAN RAILWAY TRAFFIC SERVICE  The Indian Railway Traffic Service (भारतीय रेल यातायात सेवा) abbreviated as IRTS is an organised Group 'A' Class 1 service (cadre) of the Government of India. The selection for the service is done through the Civil Services Exam conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). The officers of the service are responsible for administering railway transport in the country. The Traffic Department comprises two branches - Operations and Commercial. The emblem of IRTS has a pair of rail tracks in black twist and support the Ashoka Chakra, which is supported by the national emblem of India, This is ensconced by a red circle. At the bottom, on a red banner the acronym ‘IRTS’ is written. Around the motifs on a white circular border its name is written. This is further surrounded by black border with seventeen stars representing the number of zones in the Indian Railways. A red circular border surrounds the emblem.

INSURANCE INSTITUTE OF INDIA (REGD.) The Insurance Institute of India (Regd.) (III) formerly known as Federation of Insurance Institutes (J.C. Setalvad Memorial) (Regd.) was established in the year 1955, for the purpose of promoting insurance education and training in the country. The Institute is a professional body serving the cause of the insurance industry. The Institute conducts examinations at three levels: Licentiate, Associateship and Fellowship as also examinations - Certificate in Foundations of Casualty Actuarial Science (General Insurance) and Certificate in Insurance Salesmanship. III is the only professional insurance institute in India and is a chartered member in the Institute of Global Insurance Education (IGIE). NATIONAL HEALTH MISSION The National Health Mission (NHM) encompasses its two Sub-Missions, The National Rural Health Mission (NRHM) and The National Urban Health Mission (NUHM). The main programmatic components include health system strengthening, Reproductive-Maternal- Neonatal-Child and Adolescent Health (RMNCH+A) and communicable and non-communicable diseases. Its emblem is a pictorial with a red colour segment of an oval serving as a shelter, in which the icons of a family - a man, a girl child and a woman are shown. Above them a yellow sun is shining. The name of the mission is written above the oval in English and at the bottom in Devanagari.

NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY SIKKIM National Institute of Technology Sikkim (NIT Sikkim or NIT SKM) is a public engineering and research institution near the city of Ravangla in Sikkim. It is one of the 31 National Institutes of Technology in India and has been declared as an Institute of National Importance by the Government of India. NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY DELHI National Institute of Technology Delhi (NITD) is one of the thirty one NITs established in the year 2010 by an act of parliament and has been declared as an Institute of National Importance. NIT Delhi is an autonomous institute which functions under the aegis of Ministry of Education, Government of India. The emblem of NITD seems to have been inspired by architecture and building design concepts. It has its acronym arranged as blocks of buildings as walls, entrances, windows and openings, arranged one over the other. The ‘building’ has a curved finish of horizontal lines. NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY PUDUCHERRY National Institute of Technology Puducherry (NITPY), nestled in the scenes of Karaikal, a coastal enclave in the basin of river Cauvery is one among the ten new NITs in the Union Territory of Puducherry. Fifty of seats reserved for the candidates having residence/native at Puducherry, Karaikal, Mahe, Yanam and the remaining 50% seats are filled on all India basis. NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY UTTARAKHAND Established in 2009 under the Act of Parliament by the Ministry of Education, National Institute of Technology Uttarakhand (NITUK) is the technical education hub in the green and clean lap of the Himalayas, precisely located in the Land of the Gods (known as Dev Bhoomi), the state of Uttarakhand. Its logo in greyish blue and fresh green has an octagonal lotus in the centre, in which the picture of Ganga descending from Himalayas in the backdrop of a glowing sun is depicted. NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY JAMSHEDPUR National Institute of Technology (NIT), Jamshedpur was formally inaugurated on August 15, 1960 at Adityapur. On December 27, 2002 RIT, Jamshedpur was formally upgraded to National Institute of Technology, Jamshedpur with the Deemed University status. Its insignia in the form of an oblong shield has the following elements and motifs within it. NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOG  AGARTALA The Tripura Engineering College was converted to National Institute of Technology Agartala on April 1, 2006 vide notification No. F. 20-20/2004/TS III/ dated 10.03.2006 of the Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD), Government of India. Its emblem is a gear wheel in which, on a border its name in Hindi and English are placed. Within this circle an opened notebook with a pen is placed, from which a glowing sun of knowledge rises. This is supported on both sides by leafy laurels. Its motto ‘ज्ञानं परमं बलम्’ meaning ‘Knowledge is the Ultimate Strength’ is written on a banner at the bottom.

NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY SRINAGAR National Institute of Technology, Srinagar (NITSRI) is one of the premier educational institutes in the northern regions of the country. It was established in 1960 and has been one of the eighteen Regional Engineering Colleges sponsored by the Government of India during the Second Plan. Its emblem is an Arabic calligraphic monogram of 'الظلمات إلى النور', which is placed in the middle. It means 'Lead me from Darkness to Light'. A set of three chinar leaves float on both the sides of the monogram. At the bottom of the monogram its motto in Sanskrit ‘तमसो मा ज्योतिर्गमय‘ meaning ‘Lead me from Darkness to Light’ is placed.
