LALA LAJPAT RAI UNIVERSITY OF VETERINARY AND ANIMAL SCIENCES The emblem of Lala Lajpat Rai University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (LUVAS) has a brown circular border carrying the name and place of the university and houses the motifs of letter ‘V’ in blue and bold, the Staff of Hermes entwined with a serpent supported by a globe of earth in the background and surmounted by its name in Devanagari. Below the circular seal, on a white banner with black outlines its motto in Sanskrit ‘राष्ट्रीन्नयजं पशुवर्थनम्’ meaning ‘Nation for Animals’ is inscribed.

KHALLIKOTE UNITARY UNIVERSITY The Khallikote Unitary University (KUU) started functioning from August 1, 2021, through Government letter No. 31432/HE, dated August 6, 2021. This university started as a school in 1856 in Berhampur and became an intermediate College named Native College in 1878. It became Khallikote Autonomous College in 1893 and it was under affiliation to Berhampur University The emblem of the university has an open book supporting a traditional lamp surmounted by its acronym ‘KCB’ with wings. All these motifs have elaborate decorations around them. These are surmounted by its name in Odiya and by the name of its place at the bottom. Its motto in Sanskrit ‘तमसो मा ज्योतिर्गमय’ (Yajnavalkya,1.3.28, Pavamana Mantra, Brihadaranyaka Upanishad) meaning ‘From Darkness Lead me to Light’ is written on the book. ODISHA UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY AND RESEARCH The Odisha University of Technology and Research, (Formerly CET), Bhubaneswar was established by the Government of Odisha in 1981. It was a Constituent College of the Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology, Bhubaneswar since inception. The circular emblem in the shades of blue and brown has the motif of the wheel of the Sun Temple of Konark super imposed by a quick response (QR) code in the centre and intersected by a diagram of an atom. On the frame at the bottom of the wheel, the motto of the university in Sanskrit ‘कर्मणैव हि संसिद्धिदम्’ (Chapter: 3 - Shlok: 20 of Bhagavad Gita) meaning ‘Perfection Verily by Action Only’ is written. The name of the university in English and Odia circumscribe the emblem. The Wheel of Konark represents Odisha, its heritage and engineering prowess and the QR code and the atom represents technology and respectively.

ARYABHATTA KNOWLEDGE UNIVERSITY Aryabhatta Knowledge University (AKU), Patna has been established by the Government of Bihar for the development and management of educational infrastructure related to technical, medical, management and allied professional education in the state. The emblem of the university has a motif of a Mauryan era arch in brown colour, holding a drawing of an atom on a blue circle with a rising sun in the centre. Below the drawing on a banner, the motto of the of the university in Sanskrit ‘सत्यधर्माय दृष्टये’ (Verse 15, Ishopanishad) meaning ‘For the Law of the Truth for Sight’ is inscribed. The name of the university is written at the bottom in Devanagari and English. SAVEETHA AMARAVATI UNIVERSITY Saveetha Amaravati University (SAU) was established at Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh in 2018. The emblem of the university is in the form of a shield with the ‘Vel, the sacred spear of Lord Murgan in the middle supported by its acronym ‘SAU’ in blue and brown. The shield has a yellow coloured horizontal banner on which ‘Estd. 2017’ is written. Below the shield its motto ‘Enlighten Educate Empower’ is written. The sacred Vel of Lord Murugan denotes victory, removal of obstacles, growth, wealth and prosperity; the colour blue signifies serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty and the colour brown signifies the earthiness, simplicity, stability, humility, warmth, reliability, endurance, timelessness and tradition.

SHRI DHARMASTHALA MANJUNATHESHWARA UNIVERSITY Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara University (SDMU), Dharwad has been established under the Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara University Act 20I8. The university has been sponsored by the Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara Education (SDME) SocietyThe emblem of the university has a brown Shivling with Tripundra supported by a blue toned banner with huge wings, on which its motto ‘Truth Liberates’ is written. Shivling is a Hindu religious symbol which represents Lord Shiva as the power of all existence, generation, creativity and fertility at cosmic level; the Tripundra, three horizontal lines on the forehead symbolise will, knowledge and action and the wings represent the motto visually and metaphorically of the liberation achieved through knowledge and wisdom.
