BITS DESIGN SCHOOL The emblem of BITS Design School (BITDES) has a rectangle with red outline housing the motifs of orange sun, blue horse and flowing water. Below the rectangle, its acronym is written in blue sans serif typeface and its name is written at the bottom. The ‘E’ in the acronym is written with a red and two horizontal bars denoting equality, synonymous and navigation; the sun symbolises life, energy, power, positivity, illumination, light and clarity; water signifies life, motion and fertility; horse symbolises strength, courage and freedom; the colour red denotes passion, power, strength, courage, determination, energy and celebration and the colour blue denotes serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty.

EICHER MOTORS LTD The red and grey logo of Eicher Motors Ltd has a pictorial of a galloping  horse in red and its name written below in grey. The galloping horse refers to its base energy and speed, which represents victory and success. The colour red denotes passion, power, strength, courage, determination, energy and celebration and the colour grey denotes strength, longevity, unemotional, detached, balanced and impartial, power, influence, wisdom and intelligence. Overall this logo aptly suits the automobile industry by its symbolism, legibility and attractiveness.

BANKURA UNIVERSITY

BANKURA UNIVERSITY Bankura University (BU) was established by the West Bengal Act XIX of 2013 and the assent of the Governor was first published in the Kolkata Gazette, Extraordinary on January 6, 2014. The university is recognised under Section 2(f) & 12(B) of the UGC Act, 1956. The university is located in Bankura. The blue colour emblem of the university has a shield on which the motifs of motifs of a bow and arrow; palash flower 'Butea monosperma', a pair of terracotta horses, a pair of laurels and its name. It is surmounted by its name in Bengali. Its motto in Sanskrit ‘उत्तिष्ठत जाग्रत’ (Mantra 14, Valli 3, Chapter 1, Kathopanishad) meaning ‘Arise Awake’ is placed on a banner which below the shield. The shield protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the bow and arrow represent the native tribes; the terracotta horses represent the native art and crafts; the laurels symbolise hard work, dedication, victory and achievement and the colour blue symbol

RAFFLES UNIVERSITY The Raffles University at Neemrana was established by an Act of Rajasthan State Legislature, as per Section 2(f) of UGC Act, 1956, is a multi disciplinary university offering education through its schools of law, management, engineering and technology, basic and applied sciences, agricultural sciences, pharmacy and humanities and social sciences. The emblem of the university has a shield divided into four quadrants alternating maroon and gold colours holding an open book and a horse. The shield represents the belief in defending democracy, liberty and equality in opportunities. The four quadrants represent balance in life. The book represents knowledge and developing capability. The horse represents vision of power, potency, robustness and strength. The white symbolises reverence, simplicity and optimism; the colour maroon creativity and alumni networking and the colour gold  prestige and quality. The name of the university is written at the bottom. 

SAVITRIBAI PHULE PUNE UNIVERSITY

SAVITRIBAI PHULE PUNE UNIVERSITY Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) was established on February 10, 1949 under the Poona University Act. The lotus shaped emblem of SPPU has Shaniwar Wada, the palace of Peshwas of the Maratha Empire founded By Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. In the bottom left and right are the Fort of Raigad, the capital of the empire and the Parvati Hill Temple of Pune respectively, placed inside a circle. Between these circles are a pair of crossed swords, elephant heads and pens. The Shaniwar Wada is supported by two horses standing upright holding an open book which has the words 'Savitribai Phule Pune University' inscribed on it along with the year of its establishment, 1949 AD. A pair of swastikas are placed below the book. At the bottom of the emblem the motto of the university in Sanskrit ‘यः क्रियावान् स पण्डितः’ meaning ‘Where Actions Prove Knowledge’ is inscribed on banner. SRINIVAS UNIVERSITY

SRINIVAS UNIVERSITY Srinivas University, Mangalore, is a private university, established in 2013 by Karnataka State Act. The logo of the university is a monogram of ‘SG’ in gold on a blue rectangle looking like a galloping horse. This is placed on white three dimensional grey plaque, which bears its name and motto ‘Samagra Gnana’ meaning ‘Comprehensive Knowledge’.

SHRI RAM MURTI SMARAK TRUST Shri Ram Murti Smarak Trust, a public charitable Trust (Reg.) was established in the year 1990, to commemorate Cherish memory of veteran freedom fighter and Gandhian, Late Ram Murti. Its emblem in brown colour has a trishul (trident) has a pair of Aesculapian snakes winding around it as a symbol of medicine, supported by a book meaning education. A lion and a horse are poised towards the trident symbolising strength, power and courage and magical power and endurance respectively. These are crested by its motto in Sanskrit ‘सिद्धिर्भवती कर्मजा’ meaning ‘Siddhi becomes Karma’. All these are ensconced in a circle with two border lines. Below the circle on a banner, its name is written. At the bottom on another banner ‘India’ is written.

UP WARRIORZ

UP WARRIORZ The UP Warriorz are an Indian women's cricket team that compete in the Women's Premier League (WPL), based in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. The team is owned by Capri Global. The team is to be coached by Jon Lewis and captained by Alyssa Healy. Their squad was assembled at the inaugural WPL player auction in February 2023. The team’s logo has a shield in the tones of orange, which is supported by a pair of warrior women on horses. This and its name are in purple colour. The word ‘Warriorz’ is placed on a pink banner. This logo is bright, feminine, bold and attractive.

THE GRENADIERS REGIMENT

THE GRENADIERS REGIMENT The oldest Grenadier Regiment of the armies in the Commonwealth belongs to the Indian Army. A composite battalion comprising Grenadier companies of Bombay Sepoys won the famous battle of Talegaon in 1778. By 1784, the group of Grenadier companies had been given the title of Bombay Grenadiers. The concept of 'Grenadiers' evolved from the practice of selecting the bravest and strongest men for the most dangerous tasks in combat. The Grenadiers have one of the longest unbroken record of existence in the Indian Army. The Grenadiers have the unique and distinct honour of having the most number of Param Vir Chakras, India's highest medal for gallantry, among all the Indian Army's Infantry Regiments. Company Quarter Master Havildar Abdul Hamid, 4th Grenadiers was the first recipient of the Param Vir Chakra (Posthumous) for the Regiment in 1965 and the second recipient to get the Param Vir Chakra was Major Hoshiar Singh, 3rd Grenad

16 CORPS

16 CORPS The XVI Corps  is a corps of the Indian Army raised on June 1, 1972. It has its headquarters at Nagrota Cantonment, Nagrota, Jammu district, Jammu and Kashmir. In 2005 IX Corps (India) was raised in part of the XVI Corps' area, taking over two of its divisions. Today it is reported to include 10th Infantry Division (India), headquartered at Akhnoor, 25th Infantry Division, headquartered at Rajauri and 39th Infantry Division, with its headquarters at Yol. 10 CORPS

10 CORPS The 10 Corps  is based in Bhatinda and is a part of South Western Command. It was formed around 1976 and 18th Infantry Division was raised at about the same time. The 24th Infantry Division was formed in 1978. (Renaldi and Rikhye 2011, 26) The X Corps had been raised at Bhatinda to reduce XI Corps' load, while the new corps took over south Punjab and north Rajasthan. It has two of the army's Reorganised Army Plains Infantry Divisions (RAPIDs). It consists of: 1 6th Infantry Division headquartered at Sri Ganganagar; 18th Infantry Division (India) (RAPID) Kota; 24th Infantry Division (India) (RAPID) Bikaner, Rajastan, (In 2001, Division Artillery and 180th Armoured Brigade were at Bikaner, 25th Infantry Brigade was at Bhatinda and an unidentified infantry brigade was at Lalgarh Jattan); 6th Independent Armoured Brigade (in the Pathankot area?); 615th Independent Air defence Brigade and 471st Engineering Brigade. STATE EMBLEM OF BHARAT (INDIA)

STATE EMBLEM OF BHARAT (INDIA) The State Emblem of Bharat (India) is an adaptation from the Sarnath Lion Capital of Asoka which is preserved in the Sarnath Museum. The Lion Capital has four lions mounted back to back on a circular abacus. The frieze of the abacus is adorned with sculptures in high relief of an elephant, a galloping horse, a bull and a lion separated by intervening Dharma Chakras. The abacus rests on a bell-shaped lotus. The profile of the Lion Capital showing three lions mounted on the abacus with a Dharma Chakra in the center, a bull on the right and a galloping horse on the left and outlines of Dharma Chakras on the extreme right and left has been adopted as the State Emblem of India. The Bell-shaped lotus has been omitted. The motto ‘Satyameva Jayate’ - 'Truth alone triumphs' written in Devanagari script below the profile of the Lion Capital is part of the State Emblem of Bharat. The government adopted the emblem on January 26,, 1950, the day when Ind
