MAHARISHI MARKANDESHWAR, MULLANA The emblem of Maharishi Markandeshwar, Mullana, Ambala (MMUM) has an oval-shaped panel with a red colour border and a red banner at the bottom of the oval. There is an image of Bhakta Markandeya hugging a Shiv Ling with a halo around. This is ensconced in a red border on which the name of the university is inscribed. On the banner the slogan in Devanagari ‘ॐ श्री मारकण्डेश्वराय  नमः’ is written. Below these its motto in Sanskrit ‘कर्मण्येवाधिकारस्ते’ (Verse 47, Chapter 2, Bhagavad Gita) meaning ‘You have the Right to Action’.

INSTITUTE OF CHEMICAL TECHNOLOGY

INSTITUTE OF CHEMICAL TECHNOLOGY Established on October 1, 1933 as University Department of Chemical Technology (UDCT) of the University of Bombay (now Mumbai). The UDCT was granted partial autonomy by the University of Mumbai in 1985. It was converted into University Institute of Chemical Technology (UICT) on January 26, 2002 and it was granted full autonomy in 2004. The institute was converted into a Deemed to be University by the Government of India, on September 12, 2008. ICT Mumbai Indian Oil Odisha Campus at Bhubaneswar was established on March 18, 2018. The red, green blue and cyan emblem of the university has a blue hand holding a green globe placed inside a white circle with a blue border. The blue border carries the name of the university in English and Devanagari.
