SRI VIJAYA VISAKHA MILK PRODUCERS COMPANY LIMITED The circular emblem with blue outline of Sri Vijaya Visakha Milk Producers Company Limited (SVMPCL) houses the motifs of a man carrying fodder, a woman in green sari and red blouse carrying two pots of milk, a cow and a pair of green laurels along with its name written along the border in red and ‘Visakhapatnam’ written on a blue banner. The motifs represent the activities carried out in a dairy; the laurels represent ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication; the colour red denotes passion, power, strength, courage, determination, energy and celebration and the colour blue denotes serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty.

MEGHALAYA RURAL BANK

MEGHALAYA RURAL BANK Meghalaya Rural Bank (MRB) was established on December 29, 1981 under the Regional Rural Banks Act of 1976. The logo of the bank has a motif of a woman and a man working in a field with a backdrop of snowy mountain and blue sky. These are ensconced in a pink circle with blue outlines bearing the name of the bank. Green and blue are the colours of the land and symbolises the rural setting and nature and scope of the bank’s operations. Pink is an attractive colour which evokes the feeling of tenderness. The colour blue denotes the vast opportunities it opens up for the stakeholders and the trust one can repose on the bank. Green colour denotes harmony, freshness, fertility, calmness, tolerance, prosperity and growth.

AHMEDABAD URBAN DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY

AHMEDABAD URBAN DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY Ahmedabad Urban Development Authority (AUDA) was established on February 1, 1978 by the State Government of Gujarat. The prime objective of the AUDA's formation was to carry out the sustained planned development of the area falling outside the periphery of Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation. The important functions of the Authority include the preparation of a physical plan for the development of Ahmedabad urban agglomeration, to prepare the draft town planning schemes, to implement the revised town planning schemes and to monitor and control the development activities in accordance with the revised development plan. Its circular logo has four quadrants in the middle, with a man walking, a house, a tree and a factory. The diagonal separators act as direction markers in blue, orange, red and green meaning that AUDA covers all directions and the outer circle has a border which carries its name in Gujarati and English.

NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY DURGAPUR

NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY DURGAPUR The National Institute of Technology, Durgapur known formerly as Regional Engineering College, Durgapur, was established by an Act of Parliament in 1960. Its emblem has a concave nonagon with a chequered border; a circle is placed and on which its name is written. Inside the circle in an upward looking equilateral triangle a burning lamp is placed. On the base of the pedestal ‘Durgapur’ is written and on the banner at the bottom ‘उद्योगः पुरुषश्य लक्षणम्’ meaning ‘Industry is a Characteristic of a Man’ is written.

10 CORPS

10 CORPS The 10 Corps  is based in Bhatinda and is a part of South Western Command. It was formed around 1976 and 18th Infantry Division was raised at about the same time. The 24th Infantry Division was formed in 1978. (Renaldi and Rikhye 2011, 26) The X Corps had been raised at Bhatinda to reduce XI Corps' load, while the new corps took over south Punjab and north Rajasthan. It has two of the army's Reorganised Army Plains Infantry Divisions (RAPIDs). It consists of: 1 6th Infantry Division headquartered at Sri Ganganagar; 18th Infantry Division (India) (RAPID) Kota; 24th Infantry Division (India) (RAPID) Bikaner, Rajastan, (In 2001, Division Artillery and 180th Armoured Brigade were at Bikaner, 25th Infantry Brigade was at Bhatinda and an unidentified infantry brigade was at Lalgarh Jattan); 6th Independent Armoured Brigade (in the Pathankot area?); 615th Independent Air defence Brigade and 471st Engineering Brigade. INDIRA GANDHI RASHTRIYA MANAV SANGRAHALAYA A nucleus of a 'National Museum of Man' began functioning from New Delhi from  March 21, 1977 as part of the Anthropological Survey of India. In 1978 it was separated from the Anthropological Survey of India and declared as an Independent Subordinate Office of the Department of Culture (now Ministry of Culture ), Government of India. In March 1985 the Museum was renamed as Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya, at the instance of the then Prime Minister, Mrs. Indira Gandhi, which was later through a Cabinet decision named after Indira Gandhi as Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya. For international perspective the term ‘National Museum of Mankind’ was adopted. MRF K. M. Mammen Mappillai started MRF’s journey as a toy balloon manufacturing unit in a shed in Tiruvottiyur in Madras in 1946. By 1949, the company was making latex cast toys, gloves and contraceptives and established its first office at 334, Thambu Chetty Street, Madras (now Chennai), Tamilnadu, India. MRF’s venture into the manufacture of tread rubber in 1952 put them on the road and into the big leagues. By 1956, it was the market leader in India with a fifty percent share. In 1961 MRF became a public company, established a technical collaboration with the Mansfield Tire Rubber Company based in USA with a new pilot plant at Tiruvottiyur. It has plants at Kottayam, Goa in 1971 Arakkonam and Medak. In 1989 MRF collaborated with Hasbro International USA, the world's largest toy makers and launched Funskool India.
