J.C BOSE UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY The emblem of J.C Bose University of Science and Technology (JC BUST) has a red floral circular spread houses a white border with red outlines bearing its name and State. Inside the circle are the motifs of a nose cone of a rocket; an inverted triangle; a key, a nut with bolt and double head nut and bolts representing science, technology and engineering and the name of its place. Below the circular insignia, on a yellow banner with red outline the university’s motto in Sanskrit ‘विद्या परम् भूषणम्’ meaning ‘Knowledge is the Supreme Ornament’ is inscribed in blue.

MADURAI KAMARAJ UNIVERSITY Established in 1966, Madurai Kamaraj University as a State University. The coat of arms of the university is a blue shield supported by a red banner on which its motto in Tamil ‘மெய்ப்பொருள் காண்பதறிவு’ which mean ‘To Seek Truth is Knowledge’. The shield is divided into eight parts and they carry different motifs. The Gopuram of Pandya dynasty is placed in the top middle; burning traditional lamp on its left and an open book on its right; In the middle a pink lotus supported on either side by an elephant and a rocket and a pair of fish at the bottom. INDIAN INSTITUTE OF SPACE SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY The Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST) situated at Thiruvananthapuram is a Deemed University under Section 3 of the UGC Act 1956. It was formally inaugurated on September 14, 2007. The circular emblem of the university has an aerial view of earth bearing its motto in Sanskrit ‘विद्या सन्धिः प्रवचनम् सन्धानम्’ (Hymn 5, Siksha Valli, Part 1 Taittiriya Upanishad, Yajur Veda) meaning ‘Education is the conjunction between the acharya or teacher, the base element and the disciple the secondary element. Teaching acts as a catalyst’. The emblem is superimposed by its acronym developed into a monogram in glowing cyan colour, in which the ‘i’s are treated like humans and the ‘s’ is treated as trajectory of a rocket with a rocket at the bottom and a satellite on the top and the letter ‘t’ is treated a s plus mark or a locator. The outer line of the emblem becomes bold and takes a concave shape at the bottom right.

NEWSPACE INDIA LIMITED The NewSpace India Limited (NSIL) has been incorporated in March 6, 2019 as a wholly owned Government of India company, under the control of Department of Space (DoS). NSIL has an authorized share capital of INR 100 crore and paid up capital of INR 10 crore. This is he commercial arm of Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). Its logo has its acronym ‘NSIL’ written in sans serif text wherein ‘I’ is shown as a rocket taking off and below this is the acronym in Hindi written in light blue colour. This is ensconced by an elliptical circle in orange depicting the path of a satellite.
