GIRIJANANDA CHOWDHURY UNIVERSITY Girijananda Chowdhury University (GCU) is situated in the outskirts of Guwahati on a sprawling twenty acre campus between the Brahmaputra river and the Deepor Beel waterbody. It was established through the Girijananda Chowdhury University, Assam, Act XLVII of 2022 of the Assam Government as a State Private University under the aegis of Shrimanta Shankar Academy Society. The emblem of the university holds a nib of a pen with gradually increasing energy emanating from it in yellow colour on a blue circle. These motifs are ensconced in a blue circular border, which carries its name and place. THDC INDIA LIMITED THDC India Limited (formerly Tehri Hydro Development Corporation Limited), is under the ownership of National Thermal Power Corporation Limited, Ministry of Power, Government of India. It was incorporated in July 1988 to develop, operate and maintain the Tehri Hydro Power Complex and other Hydro Projects. THDCIL has also ventured into thermal power generation. Its logo in light and dark blue has a water turbine fan with three blades. Its name is written in Devanagari and English.

KARNATAKA POWER CORPORATION LIMITED Karnataka was the first state in the country to conceive and set up a professionally managed Corporation to plan, construct, operate and maintain power generation projects in the State. Karnataka Power Corporation Limited (KPCL), since its inception in 1970 has grown steadily with initial installed capacity of 746 MW to 8738.305 MW . The present installation comprises 5020 MW of thermal power, 3679.75 MW of hydro power, 4.555 MW of wind power and 34 MW of solar power, with 370 MW of combined cycle power on the verge of commissioning. Its emblem is a depiction of a hydro power generation unit supported on sides by flashes of power. At the bottom its name is written.

NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY NAGALAND

NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY NAGALAND National Institute of Technology Nagaland (NITN), an Institute of National importance is a higher education technical Institute located at Chumukedima (Dimapur), Nagaland. It is one among the ten newly approved NITs by the Government of India in 2009 under the 11th Five Year Plan and it started functioning from the academic year 2010. Its emblem has a dodecagonal leaf platter on which, circular motif is placed inside a border. The dark green colour border has its name, supported by a pair of Ashoka Chakras and its motto ‘Education is Power’ written on it. Inside the circular space, with the background of a mountain, land and waterbody a pair of hornbills, a Naga shield with helical DNA structure, an opened book with an antenna, telecommunication tower, atomic structure, magnetic force illustration and an electric transmission tower are placed. At the bottom of the book ‘2010’, its founding year is written. 

INDIAN INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY GUWAHATI

INDIAN INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY GUWAHATI Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, the sixth member of the IIT fraternity, was established in 1994. The academic programme of IIT Guwahati commenced in 1995. The motto of IIt Guwahati is ‘ज्ञान ही शक्ति है’ which means ‘Knowledge Is Power’. The emblem of IITG in Yellow ochre, red and blue  was designed by Yeshwant Chaudhary in 1994, based on the concept of sound connection between the mind, body and soul. The concept underlines the deep philosophy of cosmic beliefs in the field of yoga (a philosophy practised in India since the Vedic times). The triad connected with sound training and education creates a unified assimilation of true Indian values of education. 

NANDI

NANDI The name Nandi, which means 'happiness', designates the sacred bull belonging to Shiva, the Hindu god of creative power. In traditional Indian sculpture Shiva is often shown mounted on or leaning against the animal. As a symbol of Shiva, the Nandi represents power, virility, joy, and delight, as well as a controlled potential for destructiveness. When carved as a free-standing figure, the Nandi is always shown in a resting position that emphasizes the calmer aspect of its power. Shiva and Nandi's association in Hindu scriptures and art can be traced to very early Indian culture, where dairy farming was the most important occupation, thus explaining the importance and sacredness of the cow and bull.
