KERALA TOURISM DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION LTD. The logo of Kerala Tourism Development Corporation Ltd. (KTDC) is a word mark written in sans serif lowercase typeface with rounded stroke endings in green with the counters of ‘k, a and a’ are filled with yellow, red and light blue colours denoting being free and casual. The letter ‘l’ is depicted as a coconut tree referring to the State of Kerala. All these are supported by a pair of blue wavy lines depicting the waters, sea and beaches of the State. The logo is interesting, colourful, attractive and friendly.

ICAR-CENTRAL ISLAND AGRICULTURAL RESEARCH INSTITUTE

ICAR-CENTRAL ISLAND AGRICULTURAL RESEARCH INSTITUTE ICAR-Central Island Agricultural Research Institute (CIARI) has a semi-circle with blue outlines housing the motifs of an island, sea, green coconut trees and red sun circumscribed by its name. Below the pictorial, its acronym is written and below it its motto in Sanskrit ‘तमसो मा  ज्योतिर्गमय’ (Yajnavalkya, 1.3.28, Pavamana Mantra, Brihadaranyaka Upanishad) meaning ‘From Darkness Lead me to Light’ is inscribed on a banner placed below the globe. The motifs represent the geography of its location.

TUMKURU UNIVERSITY

TUMKUR UNIVERSITY Tumkur University was established in the year 2004, as a State University, to cater to the educational needs of Tumakuru district where the majority of students hail from the rural areas. The emblem of the university has a blue circular border and is supported by a brown coloured banner. The border carries the name of the university in Kannada and English, its year of establishment and a structure of an atom. Within the circle motifs of a hill, coconut trees in green colour, a folk drum, a traditional lamp and a hand holding a bunch of vegetables. The banner is inscribed with its motto in Kannada ‘ಜ್ಞಾನವೇ ಅನಂತ’ and in English ‘Knowledge is Eternal’. The hill, coconut trees, drum and the bunch of vegetables are representative of the district’s geography and the traditional lamp signifies light, path for growth and way forward.
