The swan is sacred and is a symbol of grace and beauty; the pigeon refers to fertility, prosperity, fortune, luck and transformation and the colour peach symbolises immortality. The logo is interesting and friendly.

ADAMAS UNIVERSITY The Adamas University has been established by Sachis Kiran Roy Memorial Trust (SKRMT) (under the West Bengal Act IV of 2014) passed by The West Bengal Legislature. The RICE Group is the parent organisation of SKRMT. The insignia of the university has a shield and banner predominantly in blue colour. The shield carries the motifs of an open book, five persons holding their hands together, a hand holding a heart and a pigeon. Above these ‘Adamas’ is written. The banner is inscribed with ‘University’. The colour blue symbolises serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty and the colour green symbolises agriculture, nature, growth, balance, harmony, environment, prosperity, vitality, prestige, wealth and being very down to earth. SINGHANIA UNIVERSITY Singhania University was established under the Ordinance 6 of 2007 of Government of Rajasthan by D. C. Singhania. The university was inaugurated on October 21, 2007 by its founder. The circular blue colour logo of the university has a flying pigeon placed atop the year of establishment ‘2007’ ensconced by a blue border which carries the name of the university and its motto ‘Knowledge is Power’. The flying pigeon signifies fertility and prosperity, fortune, luck and transformation. The bird also symbolises persistence, harmony, wellbeing, mercy, forgiveness and freedom. The colour blue symbolises serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty.

SURESH GYAN VIHAR UNIVERSITY

SURESH GYAN VIHAR UNIVERSITY Suresh Gyan Vihar University (SGVU) is a not for profit autonomous private university located in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India and it was founded in 2017 by Sahitya Sadawart Samiti. Its emblem has a heart intersected with a motif of a pigeon and a rising sun. Extremely bold rays originate from the heart symbol. The heart symbol is the most popular symbol of love and is used to represent the centre of emotion, including affection and love; pigeon symbolises fertility, prosperity, fortune, luck and transformation and the rising sun symbolises the beginning of a new era. This assemblage and the rays originating from the heart signifies the evolution of the university and its students into more passionate, transformative and prosperous leaders.

STOVEKRAFT LIMITED Stovekraft is an Indian company that manufactures cooking appliances under Black+Decker, Skava, Pigeon and Gilma brands. The company was founded in 1999 and is headquartered in Bangalore, Karnataka. Among its cooking appliances are mixer grinders, pressure cookers, cooktops, toasters, chimneys and kitchen utensils. Its emblem has a pictorial and a wordmark one below the other. The pictorial is an abstract adaptation of the top view of a gas stove ‘pan support’ using four arrows and presenting an angular point of view with metallic finish. Its name is written in red using a trendy sans serif typeface, which is crisp and clean.
