SWAMI VIVEKANAND UNIVERSITY Swami Vivekanand University was established by an Act of Madhya Pradesh State Legislature and notified in its official Gazette as The Madhya Pradesh Niji Vishwavidyalaya (Staphana Avam Sanchalan) Tritiya Sansodhan Adhiniyam (Act No.44 of 2011- 31 December 2011). Sri Vivekanand University (SVN) is managed by Prakhar Pragya Shiksha Prasar Avam Samaj Kalyan Samiti, Sagar Madhya Pradesh (INDIA). Its campus is spread over sixty five acres of land offering courses in the disciplines of arts and science, engineering, agriculture, pharmacy, nursing, commerce, law, computer science, management studies, education, library science and physical education etc ( SVN ). Its insignia in yellow and dark red is in the form of a shield that has a portrait of Swami Vivekanand placed on a globe with a double pointed blue arrow going around.
