INDIAN SUPER LEAGUE The Indian Super League (ISL) is India’s unrivalled football championship which kicked off on October 12, 2014. The inaugural winners of the league were ATK FC, while Chennaiyin FC were the winners of the second season. The league is co-promoted by Reliance, Star India and supported by the All India Football Federation (AIFF). NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY GOA The National Institute of Technology Goa (NIT Goa) is a premier technical Institute of the region. NIT Goa was established in the year 2010 by an act of parliament and it is declared as ‘Institute of National Importance’. The emblem of this institute is dominantly blue and circular with a white border. The border carries its name in Hindi and English along with its motto in Sanskrit ‘या विद्या सा विमुक्तये‘ meaning ‘True Knowledge Liberates’. Inside the circle in cyan background a Florence Nightingale oil lamp with flame is placed surrounded by a sprocket wheel. INDIAN INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY GOA Indian Institute of Technology Goa (IIT Goa) is an autonomous public university located in Goa. IIT Goa was allotted by the Government of India in 2014 and it started functioning from July, 2016. The motto of this institute is ‘विद्या विनयेन दीप्यते‘ in Sanskrit meaning ‘Knowledge Shines with Humility’. The emblem of this institute was designed by Pranoy Das of IISER, Kolkata based on the idea of Prof. B. K. Mishra of IIT, Goa. It has a decagon created using a continuous line with ten strokes of flying lines. It has a decagon placed inside diametrically. This has a human, who supports an open book from which a flame of torch arises. This assemblage has an outer circular border wherein, its name is written in Hindi and English. At the bottom of this emblem on a white border where its tagline is written.

GOA POLICE The Goa Police as an independent organisation was born in April 1946 with the establishment of Policia do Estado da India – PEI, Police of India, through a decree of the Portuguese regime which ruled Goa until 1961. On June 8, 1969 the transfer of authority from Military Administration to Civil Administration was effected. Goa Police celebrates this week as Goa Police Day and the entire week as Goa Police Week. The emblem of Goa Police is a coat of arms: Argent the letters ‘GP’, and a bordure with the legend Goa police in English and Hindi. EMBLEM OF GOA  The emblem of Goa State has been designed taking into consideration all the varied and rich facets of Goa’s rich cultural heritage rooted in the national ethos. Its abundant scenic beauty, the bounties conferred on it by nature and the significant progress achieved by its diligent and amiable people in the post liberation era under a democratic and popularly elected regime. The ‘Vriksha Deep’ the unique Goan traditional lamp depicts enlightenment through knowledge. A circular stylized design of coconut leaves symbolizing the bountiful and beautiful Goan nature at the same time suggesting the radiation of sunrays - the source of light and energy - surrounds the inset in a halo of suggestive glory.
